When I get my sled up to about 3/4 throttle the rpms all of a sudden drop down real low then quickly rise and drops over and over again until i let of the throttle. I've had my sled at the shop three times now trying to get it fixed but each time i get it back nothing they do works:mad:. So If you have any ideas on what could be wrong with it i would really appreaciate the help.
Here is a video that you can hear the problem on http://youtube.com/watch?v=HU0-ypxSHEc

Hi, I have an 07' Summit doing the same thing now. Just started happening yesterday. If I find out something, I'll post it.

I could be one of your injectors. Apperently there are 2 for each cylinder one for low throttle the second for high throttle. Maybe your high throttle injector is dead. You could check by swapping the low with the high(apperantly they are the same part) and see if it works at full throtlle but won't at low. Might just be a bad or grounding out connection as well.

Well i have had the injectors replaced and according to rms about every single electricle part was cheched so i dont think its either of those.

We have one that does this also, maybe not as bad as your's, but it seems to run good at higher elevation.Been told it could be the TPS, fuel pump relay, fuel filter or fuel pickup tube.I haven't tried any of them. I did change spark plugs and it does seem to run better.I might see about getting it re-mapped since it runs good a higher elevation.:face-icon-small-con

I have a 08 skandic 600 HO SDI that does the same thing, turns out there is a problem with a power surge in the air pressure sensor that causes a hesitation in the motor, just enough to pitch you into the handlebars. Apparently there is a fix, plugging a retro capacitor into the Dess Connector. Worth a try?
