Good buddy of mine who's a big time skier just called and warned me that avy control at a few resorts have been having a hell of a time today.

BIG BIG slides, very fast, and instantly set up like concrete.

Please be careful out there so we don't have another search on our hands.

The two snowmobliers were found and brought off the mountain, THEY SEEMED TOO BE IN GOOD SHAPE!!!!

I went out today riding and tried to help. We showed up at the timber lakes parking lot and where told a search is in progress and that we can't park. I told the sheriff that we would like to help and to tell us what sleds they are on. We have been riding tower area for years and know the area well. When we got up to tower we were planning on heading east for quite a ways but unfortunately one of are sleds was not running good. IMO they are searching to close to the trails at tower, and need to head farther east into the "back country"

Good instinct!! they were found near Red mountain/ Low pass area which is 10-15 miles east of tower, I guess they got turned around in the storm and they thought they were heading west to the truck? That is all I have heard. Glad to hear they were just hanging out for 3 days waiting for help.....great news!

Been to Red Mtn a couple times and that is a long ways away from where they were searching
