2.6 vs X3

People on here like the X3, but I haven't ridden a sled with an X3 yet that really stood out. I would say my experience is that the 2.6" will do anything an X3 will, but give you a (slightly) snappier, lighter feeling machine. It spins more (which can be good for sidehilling), but gets around the same. Only downside to the 2.6" I have seen is the wear when not fully clipped. 3" always feels slower, but is fun in a 155 for wheelies and re-entries.

Snowies are closed as of today, 6/1; think you (BJ) were looking for a place to test.

Only off trail riding is closed on 6/1. Legally you can still ride the main roads like 101 Sand lake rd

We ended up at the top of the world/bear tooth path...
The 2.6 worked just fine in spring conditions and with it fully clipped had no issues with hyfax etc.
Cant wait for powder next year, I think the "old XM" will be a solid back up/over achiever-BJ

BTW- The SHR921 runs well:face-icon-small-coo

Where can I guy get the clips to fully clip the 2.6. With 200 miles mines already grooving pretty bad. Also melted a hyfax like nothing after a rain, ice scratches couldn't kick anything up do to the rain turning into ice.

We have them in bags of 60 for $150 CDN. in Calgary. USA customers save about 30-35% with the exchange rate.

The 2.6 x 163 will use 58 from memory. The 3" will use 56 clips.
