17's Already being sold

It is certainly interesting that Polaris is releasing 17's to the market already...to my knowledge they have not done this in years past...

I just find it odd I guess...cannot wrap my head around why other than there has been very few changes and they figure why not start selling some now and make a few extra $$$$'s???

They did it with the 2015 60th anniversary edition sleds too. The dealers had some right after the release for early sale. They were basically snowcheck only models in the RMK, Switchback Assault and maybe the Pro S rush if I remember right. It's the only other time I have ever seen it.

I saw 2 2017s in McCall at Mile High last weekend. I thought maybe they were sending them to dealers because they aren't doing much for shows.

the ones you see are early release sleds like when they did the Terrain Dominator in white for the 155 and orange in 163 , this season the 163 has the orange accents and the 155 has the lime green accents , to build up hype I would guess

Yep local dealer had the lime green 155 2.6 and the 163 orange 3"
both had pidd and the extreme front and rear bumpers and small tunnel bag and handle bar bag. Dealer said they are for sale not just showroom candy- he got 2 / all out of 16's, met his sales goals in 16, and was awarded with 2 of the 17's pre season... of course he wanted full retail @ over $14k for the 155.....probably get it also....lot;s of peeps gazing at it and we just received 10" of snow and 3' in the mountains today..... good timing!!

Rode the 17 all day yesterday. 163" LE. Super fun and was climbing like a beast. Pulling 8,150rpm to 8,250 in heavy snow and warm temps. Had my 2015 163" there as well...Axys went fresh tracks up to a huge ridge that took 3 tries and track poaching on my pro and all other sleds there. Great sled and package...can't imagine being disappointed riding that thing!
