14 pro bully dog silber bogging

I can't believe Justin has not come up with a fix. I am sure its not easy, but he rep is on the line now with more than half the season over. It will be hard to sell kits next year with no fix in sight.:rant:

He will pay the price going forward. To not even say a tiny little peep about it is very sad. It is a small world and he is only hurting himself. Oh, but the Cat and Skud kits run awesome. Right.
 
That's pretty funny right there.... Whats not funny is I have $6000 bucks into a turbo that's going to be sitting in a cardboard box by this weekend.. Winter is almost done and time to go back to stock.. pretty freaking sad.....
 
450kid, I totally get it, and I'm almost to the point of doing the same thing. We have some of the best snow of the season, and I can't even climb to the top of some shorter chutes in my area without it cutting out. The bog sucks, you never know when its going to do it or not. Very frustrating.:rant::mad2:
 
One word to describe my kit.....JUNK!! My wife even told me to take the junk silber off and buy a boondocker.
 
I read the whole thread. Has anyone monitored water temps when this occurs? I installed a 2" stinger on my stock pipe that lowered pipe pressure. It cleared up most of the bog problems, from there it was just fueling. Boondocker kit, 9# boost running 5gal./1gal. 91/110.
I've seen a few cracked y-pipes also.

i had this same issue with my silber turbo on my pro and ride after ride same problem.i installed new fuel pump fuel filter ignition coils and wires ecu reeds injectors fuel controller tps exhaust solinoid exhaust valve bellows plugs bov.. i pulled it off went back to stock and my frustration went away not only spend 6000.00 on a kit that i got 6 out of 29 rides to run awesome. i spent about 2000.00 on new parts i didnt even need. the ecu i got off a friends sled.. so sold my now real expensive turbo kit went on kijiji and sold for 2500.00 bucks
i am now riding a slp stage 3 and yeah not even close to having a turbo i can be confident riding it that it wont bog det or do any stupid stuff. and its pull and go no bs oil gas and go and that is priceless to my.. just what happened with me..and i installed 3 other silber kits and 1 out of 3 run great 70% of the time. but a good rider with an xm and a 3'' track goes just as high and in the same technical terrain as the silber turbo sleds..the boondocker and aerocharger ones we ride with are awesome 95% of the time.
 
When I'm riding hard my water hangs around 127° so it's not like it does it when the water gets hot.

exact same thing...same temps.... I've tried clutching etc turning boost right off pretty much.. waiting on new actuators that are in the mail lol.....I'm done.. too bad in Canada we don't have the lemon law

I'm getting too old for this s it. Maybe I should quit sledding and buy a sandrail. Drive 6 hours south instead of west. Nice LS1 powered unit should do the trick.
 
He told my dealer that they don't acknowledge the problem, and that his kits run great.

Here is a post from my $28 upgrade thread.

Operating temps seem to be very crucial on the CFI2. Here is an example, a 2013 PRO 155 800. I was clutching this sled. Long up hill pulls, long side hill pulls, tree riding(74 mi. day). At 125 to 127 degrees it would hold 8100 RPM and very responsive. When it hit 129 it would fall to 7900 RPM. At 131 it fell to 7600 which is below peak torque. At 7600 it could not and cannot recover and would drop to 7400. Get it back down to 125 and all was well again, hit 131 and you better be looking for an escape route. What is the ECU doing??? When running the sled down the trail, no load, wide open, and it hit 131 degrees it would drop 100-150 RPM. With a heavy load on the motor it is more evident on running issues.
 
Ya I saw that thread TRS. But after reading the whole thread I came to the conclusion that the $28 mod helped some and didnt make a difference in others. Also I thought that the temps were too low after the mods on some sleds. I dont know. What do you guys think?

A 750 ohm resistor will fool the ECU that it is running at a constant 127F.
Disclaimer:This is a test plug and not for field operations.
This would tell you if it is a temp issue.

Next time I get to my sled which is seven hours away, I am going to take a brake hone to my blowoff valve. I had to do this on my 2011 kit to get it to work. The housing was warped from welding. Then I am going to try a different actuator, then possibly smaller injectors. It is not your TPS, sparkplugs, air box, pipe seals, or exhaust valves. It is something consistent in the kit causing the problem and not a polaris problem. It could be the map. It's not the Bullydog making it run bad. The only problem with the Bullydog is it should not be used as a monitor. It's not waterproof. Plain and simple. If any of these things do not work, it is coming off. My sled does not bog but makes anywhere from 11 to 19psi boost and is pretty much not rideable. The MNTK guys have a good kit, so that says it is a problem with the Silber combination. All kits have issues, but to not help customers directly and drop your problems on a dealer is plain wrong. Wonder how long they will be a dealer? Amen.
