i would be pretty leary of the drive system, i think we can all admit DOO could use to do their homework on the clutching a tad more, but the powerplant should be potent none the less.Great, we just need a few others to get out and start testing... i dont doubt anything about the sled, just want to see how the drivelines stand up..
Good luck and cant wait to here more on this.
It is a XP tunnel and XR bulhead. It looks like stock suspension with a Racers Edge coupling arm installed to replace the rear scissor.
I think that the manifold might need some heat shielding, especially near that plastic valve cover. It will be interesting to see how the under hood air filter works in deep pow. This sled should rip though.
The cool thing(no pun intended) about the filter behind the intercooler is it will actually pull some air through the intercooler. Should put a shroud around the intercooler and filter so it has to pull all the air through. lolNeil, there is a heat shield to put on yet, as a matter of fact a lot of it will need to be refitted. Going to try to route that air breather over the intercooler & off to the left side. No bellypan on this yet & the hood starts to get a little tight when you move that airbreather. Same problems that the Yammi's had until the aftermarket plastics. I would like to see a breather up a little higher to get more fresh air.
And yes this is an XR with an XP tunnel & Bulkhead.
