I have family comming in town and we are going to da a trail ride out of Daniel summit. If anyone could join us I would greatly appriciate it. I know it will be boring, 2 couples, 2 10 year old boys and just a ride on the Daniel summit loop but could still be fun. I just don't want to get out there and have any issues I cannot resolve.

Thanks in advance for any help.:face-icon-small-hap

Hey Scott would love to join you guys however I'll be out of town this week. Maybe next week. I've put three rides in at WolfCreek and consider myself lucky to hsve sleds in one piece with only minor cosmetic alterations

My family will be gone, but let me know when you get back we will ride.

All and all it was a good day. It was just a trail ride with my sister, brother in law and their 11 year old boy. Of course my wife and son were there also. We sure do need some snow but the kids had a blast. My sister and brother in law loved it also. My wife, who doesn't care much for sledding had a good time also. My XP was not running right, it did not seem to have full power and when you start it the engine light comes on and it beeps 4 times, need to look into that. About 2 miles from the lot my wife clipped a tree and totaled the rental sled she was riding, sorry Adam. We took her to the hospital and luckily she is just bruised but it was a tough one. Bellow are some pictures, you'll have to forgive the ones my son took of the crashed sled he is only 10. As you can tell we need snow but my sisters family had a blast.

Wow Scott, looks like a pretty serious wreck judging by the photos. I'm glad your wife is ok.

Looks like we need a lot more snow before any serious riding happens :(

Wow, glad your wife is OK. I went up AF Canyon today, and there's not much up there either. Thanks for the pictures. That helps give me an idea of what's currently up there. Got family coming in the week after Christmas, and they wanna go for a ride, so I'm trying to decide what area is going be the best, given the conditions.

was also riding up there today. may have met you on the trail....the further south you go the better the snow was. we got into some areas that were soft and untouched

Here are some shots of the sled I took today when I went to see the carnage. She was very lucky, the sled is totaled.
