09 yamaha's

Sure the Yamis are reliable,Had my HEAVY pig TRX for three seasons,08 M1000 now,and I cant believe how much more fun I am having sledding!! Sure Yammis are great and reliable but you chest pounders need to realize,The new Nytro is heavier, has way less power, and has a piss poor suspension with even cheaper shocks, and was more money than the M.If you guys are all so happy with your Nyros[without boost] you need to ride an M1000,and see what a really good STOCK sled is all about,THE XP may be a unreliable POS,but they are raising the bar for liteweight, they are incredible, dont believe it? Try one in 4ft of fresh pow,it will blow circles around the Nytro. So,how do you expect Yamaha to improve their sleds is everyone of there customers are happy with overweight, underpowered, poorly suspended ,overpriced sleds??? Dont care if the 2stroke will only last a season,The fun factor means 10 times more to me than being able to tow out my buddies sled with a Yamma truck,of course ,if Yamaha did produce a liteweight sled, with good power and shocks without having to drop 10 grand into it,I'd be all over it,But untill then I will rid my lite, high powered,Fox shocked ,smokey, FUN FILLED Arctic Cat,and you guys can keep telling me how wrong I am .LOL

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
480 miles on nytro (while waiting for boost)
I have rode m1000 the Ex pee and I also have a rt 1000 with 190 +hp sitting under 500lbs dry. My personal favorite ride is the nytro by far, once the boost arrives it will be one awesome sled. I weight 250 lbs and drive like a maniac the suspension does need some attention, but what stock suspension doesn't.(never found one I like stock)

You forgot to mention that m1000 diamond drive sucks I know of 4 that are down right now as I type. And two with blown pistons .Not to mention m1000 is a hard steering sob . Also 165 hp stock sled just does not do it for some people.
Nytro 11,900 Canadian with reverse boost $6500 = 280 hp 570 lbs ready to ride.
M1000 14,000 can + 4500 in goodies = nowhere near a nytro.

Oh ya did I mention stock s@cks.

feetsblg rent a nytro for a couple rides than make a comparision on handling betweem m1000 and nytro . Myself all i have to do to make the nytro turn is lean my head (not upper body) and the nytro responds and goes the way I turn my head. My riding buds could not believe it.
sledheadd out.

hmmmmm how would you feel if you were the poor sob on an "big" M series sled that got his arse handed to him by an "unreliable" 07 DOO last year???? not that great, i would think!!!!

Nytro handles as good as the exxx peeee....... i've been on them in the deep fresh pow( i won't climb right with them, but not far away)& the DOO riders were very surprised at how well the Nytro rode & handled lite.

YOUR WRONG hows that ha ha sorry man had to do it .who cares if you dont like it dont ride it that simple but dont come over here & tell us we ride a piece of junk just because its differnt than what you ride.you used to talk that rxturbo of yours up at one time now its a big heavy peice of junk.wow who knew.:D:beer;

Never said the Nytro was junk, jeez,of course I've ridden it.Stock to stock it will not outperform an XP or an M1000,sure,add 10 grand and it will smoke the 2 strokes,The point I was trying to make is the Yami needs to get lighter, and have better quality shocks, and more/better track, if nobody says so,what incentive do Yamaha have to improve the sled??? Id almost say the XP outsold the Nytro by about 10 to 1,in our area anyway, and why? LITEWEIGHT and GOOD POWER.and that is stock. If they dont deliver on reliability, either people wont buy them next year, but a lot of them wont care because of the FUN FACTOR the XP provides,Btw,if you think your stock Nytro will hang with my M1000,you'd better ride with me,trees or pointed up,Oh,and I never once called my TRX junk, just friggin HEAVY.It was a great investment, had $25k into it and sold it for $12,5k.Not trying to ruffle feathers, but a stock Nytro is not the best bang for the buck imo.Iam not callin it junk, just could b better, nor would I call anyone elses sled junk, thats just stupid

nor is the xp due to having to belt it,clutch it,gear it,re-grip it, just to make it work to it's highly praised potential. it's poor if you ask me!!!

for a first year sled that everyone is underestimating.......... the Nytro is the surprise of the year!

Not only does the M1000 feel slow and have awkward steering like the reast of the m sleds, but the chassis is ancient comared to the Nytro. They are heavy(not much more than your m1000), but Yamaha covered up the weight well with an unbelievably awesome chassis, it's the most fun sled I've ridden.

One thing to think about...I don't think anybody who bought the Nytro with plans of keeping it stock, bought it with the intentions of highmarking. I just wanted a reliable fun all around sled and the Nytro is perfect. With that sled, the Nytro does better on the hill than most people think.

I couldn't have said it better myself!!! People need to get off the idea that we Nytro owners are going to get offended because you M1000/XP/etc owners can "outperform" our sleds out of the box. I, personally, DON'T CARE. That's not what I bought this sled for.....that's not the beauty in this machine. At the end of the day, I'm way less fatigued on this machine compared to my REV from last year ('05 800 Summit). I have longevity, plushness, incredible control with the FX chasis, and the FUN FACTOR (as it has been referred to) is off the charts.

Please, everyone else that doubts the capability of the Nytro.....GO BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!!! We don't care to hear about how "heavy" it is, or how it can't "hang" with the "big dogs".....

Shut up and ride what you like.............I do!

Yaawwwwnnn...

There is a limit to weight if yor sled weighs 400 pounds or less and hit a jump and land flat its going to be bent!!!

yamaha's arent built out of crappy little aluminum. It might be heavy but it wont be in the shop getting fixed.

Bullsh!t,,,if it makes you feel better to try and convince yourself of this then fine.Go back and read that dribble you just spewed out,,,you want to have two Revs because you don't trust that one will do the trick,,,Ha Ha Ha,,,you're the exact sucker that Ski Doo is looking for,so willing to fork over your hard earned cash on not one,,,but two,,,just in case one breaks down?
Wow,,,I just didn't think of that,,and here I thought the best way was to buy one good sled and just ride it. Your bulimic Ski Doo (that where it purges itself by puking out belts) will only last for a couple years then you'll have scrap it and replace it,so I guess really, you DO have the right idea,,,borrow the money for four years, get rid of it in two 'cause it won't make it to three,,yup that sounds like a solid plan,,,let us know how that works out for you.

MMBubye

Linc also remember what kind of a guy has to have a supermodel on his arm compensating for something a little(no pun intended) lower down Hahaha

somebodies has a fat chick at home???? hahahaha, remember, dont hate the players, hate the game!!! game on:D:D:D

to be honest i never had any problems with yamaha, they built quality, they just were not as fun in the trees! had to work way harder to make it keep up with the boyz with revs, thats all.thats were the weight really showed!as for problems, there minor, except for the belts!

Are you serious my best friend has a REV and had to rebuild the motor already less than 1000 miles :( but that is not really the point we ride through the trees all the time that is what we do. The rev has a real hard time keeping up to my underpowered Vector. I can carve alot tighter then the rev. Just my .02

I like the rev I just wonder how light you can go before you lose reliabilty and durability. The only reason Yamaha is heavier is because of the 4 stroke but I love the 4 stroke and could not go back to a 2 smoke.

if the vector out carves a rev your buddy cant ride! and yes the 4stroke motor does add weight, but things like 16lb drop brackets?steel bumpers? etc etc theres room there to drop weight, if they wanted,as for weight? does anyone remember motocross bikes that weighted 300lb, steel frames, steel bars, etc etc now there 200lb doing things the old steel beast could never do! are they breaking? no! its called progress, just like know one could build a competitive 4 stroke! guess what? they did!

I think reliability scares them, if they add the monies for nytro and turbo, or sc, they would see it is the same they spend in 1 or 2 years. No motor probs with yami to spend money on, just fast parts. How do they figure their sleds are so cheap, Im just wondering because yamis arent that expensive here!
