I am looking to buy a 2008 M1000 SP but for some reason they put the 4 tower 07 clutch on it and the 07 skid frame. This was a spare sled so i dont know if they robbed the parts for another machine or if these mods make sense for performance. i heard the 08's had some clutching issues? was the 4 post ebtter than the three post?
I also heard that the 07 skid had a better approach angle???? doesn't make sense to me to go back to older parts since the 08 was supposed to be much better than the 07's
can some of you guys tell me if its wise to buy the sled with these parts?
what does it cost to put a new primary on?
