My dealer says August which probably means late September and everyone is going to want it done in time for the season. Damn!

They did announce the fix, they brought back the 700!

If they had a sure-fire fix they felt confident about, we would have heard by now.

my 2 cents

I have confirmation from a very senior person within Polaris that they are currently ramping up kits to address the 800 fix prior to dealers sending out notices to customers this summer.

This person has provided the information as a favor to me knowing full well that there are many unhappy Polaris 800 owners at the moment. I have no reason to doubt the information.

The second post on this thread says that March 19th was the date of the original letter from Polaris, on the fix for the 800. 60 days was May 18th the post above was 114 days from the fabled 60 days for a fix!! Hope its a good one, I'm pumped about getting a new top end, got 1400 trouble free miles on the original but see some scoring when I pull the exhaust valves.

Not exactly 60 days but no one said if it was calander days or man hour days or executive days..Hmmmmm???
