How was your (snowbike)-season?

I had made the decision, earlier this fall, to keep my 2017 Beta 500 RR-S on the road, to commute back and forth all winter this past winter and I had only missed like 5 or 6 days riding back and forth to work.

The cold or the rain did not stop me. The only thing that did was snow or rain/ice on the roads and as we had the warmest winter this past one up here, the gamble paid off as there was never enough snow up north to ride the snowbike in anyway=sad.

Another part of the reason I did not even bother to convert the bike is we got 2 new Grand Touring Limited's and we did get to ride them most every weekend this past winter and if there still is enough snow to ride on this upcoming weekend, we'll get one last ride in as it will be 70 degrees down here tomorrow.

How about y'all, did you have a great season? I'm sure that there are many of you, where you have like endless snow, from being either so far west or north- that are not even close to being done.

Still cold smoke season here in coastal BC.
Been an epic winter, only ridden good deep snow all season.
Up were I work on BC's central coast it is shaping up to be the biggest winter in 20 odd years.

I suppose you could say we are going into the last 1/3 of the season here in Western Montana, some sno bikers are just getting in the riding groove, warm, longer days, better now for radiator bikes, go anywhere, snow a little brutal early in the day but you can ride until 7pm.

Still riding in the 906 but Warm temps are pushing me west for one last hurrah!

Its been an OK season until 2 weeks ago when I hit a branch and broke a rib. Good thing its been a warm spell so I haven't been to tempted to rush the healing . Hoping for more snow before its done !

My first season with a snowlike, and what a gas! almost every ride has had fresh snow, and a fair amount of it! Hoping when I get back from Arizona there will still be a month or so left!

Burned a barrel and a half of fuel so far.

Still lots of snow left.

Don't let that clunky 4 Stoke steal your lines, go get him! Is that the ported 300? Nice vid that's what we usually ride in but its been slim pickins since presidents day all the sleds found my secret spots cause we didn't get a big enough storm to cover my tracks. I've been crabby about it but we still have 3 months of pow. It will get better. Our highest average snowfall months are march and April. Big pow in may too but it gets sticky as soon as the sun comes out. I've burned 6 gallons of supertech 2 stroke pemix oil this year! Did 7 days in a row before Christmas.

We will be working on the last 1/4 quarter of this winter on sat, always a a nice little extra when new snow falls, will have some in a couple of days.

It's officially spring but the past week has been the best riding all year. A week of almost continuous snow at 10k it was actually a tad too deep on Thursday but it settled and got a nice layer of cold super fluff on top to make best speedy pow snow recipe. Even the tracks were still soft. Tomorrow might get above freezing and become spring again for a few days...

Been crazy huh Eric? I got out Thursday afternoon and the snow was so blower and light and cold that I was having a real hard time keeping my engine temps anywhere near where they need to be! Super fun though.Yesterday morning the snow had settled a bit and it was phenomenal!

Then today again more blower snow... it has been one hell of a spring...if we have to isolate this is the spring to do it;)
