if the taper tolerances for that ball joint is sound...then that break at that point cannot be caused by any stress..
it was a torque issue on the nut or a manufacture issue just at thread bottom

Anyone who have bent the upper heim joints? Just discoverd that both mine was bent.... Straightened them and put them on again. Might have to get a new set from zbroz.

I have straightened them now....so the pic just shows the joint.

I had 5-6 threads showing before the nut, so my camber was around zero. Now Ive adjusted the camber negativ to help support the heim.

Bent the upper left joint again. Barely touched a rock with the underside of the ski going straight.....couldnt belive it bent from that touch. It had been straightened before though. Zbroz is sending me a set of highstrenght joints now....thanks to Freeagent!!

I have sent 2 emails to Zbroz asking them what they have done for looking into the few broken/bent parts from this past season and any changes that they have made. I have not got a response. It has been over 2 weeks since the first. If thats how they deal w/customers looks like my $ will be going to skinz.

Have seen allot more complaints about the skinzs set up then Zbroz.
What Problems have you had with it?

They seem to be the same issues with both companys. Breaking the lower ball joint. The differnece I see is that Skinz has made adjustments/improvements. Zbroz doesn't want to even answer emails.

One Report of Broken lower Joint does not make issues the same.
Im sure every Manufacturer of every product on the planet has had some complaints from someone.
I have a Zbroz front end no problems.

Do you have a Zbroz Front end?
If you do, and have issues, Maybe pick up a phone?
