Your opinion on the Death Penalty?

My opinion: Anyone who purposfully(is that a word?) delivers harm to another human in any way for the sake of causing harm or hardship.
In other words, Child molesters, murderers, thieves(Bernie Madoff especially)
and the likes. I honestly cannot beleive that anyone would think that god will forgive these dirtbags. I say he burns them! Joeseph Duncan(murder and child rapist) is in no way on his way to heaven. Bernie Madoff is in no way on his way to heaven, this guy stole billions of dollars and never showed a hint of remorse. See ya in he!! Bernie.
Caylee Anthony was murdered by her mother! You think god is waiting for her with open arms? Doubt it.
That scumbag who murdered the lady trying to protect her son from him raping her son. She died trying to save her son, she died trying to do what god would want her to do. You think her murderer is going to HEaven? Doubt it. If she could have had a gun in the home, scumbag would be dead.
Since that very instance, I bought another pistol and am going to train my wife on how to use it. Anyone who trys to hurt my family will die trying.
I recently wrote a response to a letter written to the editor in my local paper. I lady had written how the Death Penalty is "cruel and unusual" punishment. Claimed that god forgives. Bullchit! God burns these people. Some people have thier bible so far up thier arse, they can no longer see strait.
I want to know what all of you think. I am currently writing a book on current issues with the US, and I mean all issues. It will be a common sense write about all that we face, but cannot control due to the running of our country by our leaders that refuse to keep us as the priority, instead choosing thier own agenda's.
Lets hear it, what say you?

Hmmmm can anyone guess what my opinion is? :D:beer;:beer;

Hey Tim....I am really curious what yours is....you wanna chime in?

Sldgy....you're an alright guy in my book...but I am really curious what you think too. No I won't flame ya...just curious. LOL :D:beer;

There are the far left nuts on here that I am sure will have an extreme opinion soon.

I would personally like to volunteer to clear out the prisons. I will need alot of 45 auto rounds and backhoe!

IMHO educating kids is just a bit more worthwhile that rehabilitaing criminals! Shoot, shovel and Smile

Kill them all if evidence is 110%, or a confession.

Also, I think the family of the victim is aloud to choose how the fawker dies, and also has first right to pull the trigger, push the button, inject the needle etc. I believe alot of justice would be served to the victims family this way.

I would bet that if we just started killing everbody on death row.. and putting a few more deserving people on there and do the same to them..... our crime rate would drop.. :D

Kinda torn here Disco. If my son or daughter, mom, brother or any other person of I love were the victim of such a person I can say with no remorse that if I could manage the opportunity then it would expire from my revenge. Here's where I'm torn. My God says "judge not lest you be judged". In this case I am judging and I will be judged.
As far as the death penalty goes...then I say "Kill em' all...Let God sort em out."
But really its not for me to say.

Stone, your statement is not your opintion in a sense. Judging someone who raped a child or violently killed a mother, is not the same lest you be judged, You as a singlular judge is your opinion. If the criminal has been proven guilty, he has been judged my a majority, so lest they be judged? Nothing in the bible says...."rape and pillage at will, kill at will, you will be forgiven". I know for a fact, that aint in there. so dont worry about being judged, your safe.

Darko-man you hit the nail on the head. Sad thing is, many would not give such a sentence, because of fear of repercussion(sp?) But I would ask to do the sentence, as I am not afraid of god judging me. I know, and I do mean I KNOW, it is my god given right, to protect my family.

im all for the death penalty eye for and eye right?

however as for god forgiving i say everybody has a chance to repent if somebody that killed somebody truely repents i belive god will save them.

Agree. MY gut says I kill the sob that hurts my girls. My heart and brain say, we've all sinned and I am in no position to judge......hope I never am put in that spot.

Stone, have you read "The Shack" that and "Irresistble Revolution"(sp) have really made me rethink things.

yep and ONLY GOD can judge a persons heart.

course if you don't believe, well then I guess you don't worry about that final trial.

Soylent green, damn I remember that flick, oldie but a goodie.

I have the book, "the shack", but I have yet to read it. Wife said it is good, but she still wants a pistol in case.....

Disco, I have a couple buttons, and one is for those that rape or kill or purposely badly hurt children. I'd have no problem "pulling the lever" on these bastages.

As for the death penalty, the only problem with the death penalty, is that cops seem to make a lot of mistakes. It's been proven time and time again. (although, I have a suspicion that a lot of guilty people are being released) And, the reason I believe cops "just find someone to charge" a lot of times, is that they don't actually believe the guy will ever make it to the chair. Or, they honestly believe the person deserves it anyways. We need to make the death penalty stick. And, make cops understand the importance of their work, and the consequences of their investigation.

But, if you can prove the crime, I say cap them. There's 6.5 billion people on this planet, a bad person won't be missed, and can easily be replaced. Not to mention, killing one killer, saves many.

I also like the idea of the guy, guilty of a haness crime, being chained to a chair. The guards leave, and the lights slowly come up, to bleachers full of family. The screams can be heard down on death row.

Those in need of capital punishment, should die as they kill. The lady that locked her two kids in the car and pushed it in the lake. I'd lock her in a car and push it in the lake. Wait a couple minutes, and pull it back out, resuscitate her, let her rest, a nice hot meal, then lock her in the car again...... Two deaths for two deaths.

But, it'd probably be more effective to just give them 90 days, hold an appeal session, and then cap them.

a few innocent people might die, but it wouldn't take long before death penalties were not needed as much. Lots of good people die serving their country, we can't expect more than the chances their given.

Very good points and I agree with ya on all of it. I like all your ideas about death row....especially the one that all the other death row inmates (and I will add all inmates in that prison) need to hear that blood curdling scream of someone dying. They need to do away with lethal injection...they don't feel jack sh*t. They need to feel the same pain they inflicted.

Yes, there are investigators out there that just do the minimum. I have issue with that! Thorough investigations need to be done! Especially when an investigation involves the physical harm of another human.
