The way I see it if alrevedup had the proof he would have posted it. So untill he does just that sure makes him look guilty

That's the way I see it also. Since the hospital doesn't have record of that amount of a donation, I don't believe it was done.

Congrats!

Congrats Bushmaster!

Nice hatchet job.
You've taken a stand up guy and shredded him with your keyboard in a public forum.

Kind of a sh!t thing to do and gained you nothing but some keyboard jockey kinship. To me this episode says more about you than it does about Troy. Maybe he could have handled things differently, but it's his deal - he put it together and made it happen. Mailing out the last few tees, while commendable, pales in comparison to what he does. He puts a lot of love into snowmobiling, our community and the snowest crew and you've pretty much trashed that good name to the readers who don't know him as well.

I guess it's a lot easier to sit back and throw stones than to stand up and actually do something charitable - like Troy did. At this point even if he chose to post a receipt, or whatever you've pretty much drug him through the town center so what's the point - he can't win by your rules.

I called and spoke w/ him - I take him at his word - he's an honest feller, seems like he's done what he committed to - it's his business and he doesn't need to answer to you or the next pundit in line on here. I'm sure he'd gladly refund your $20.00 and take back your tee shirt so you don't feel slighted. Then you could send $16.00 to a charity on your own sans the fancy freebie Tee.

For a community that is often under attack from the outside, we as snowmobilers sure spend a lot of time picking each other apart for sport.

I'd say Troy is just as much at fault as Paul. If he is so stand up, why doesn't he post up the proof.

The receipt Jimmy posted looks legit to me. Jimmy's an honest dude, he would never post a fake receipt :). Sledskiing, pass me some popcorn. I think Bushmeister is winning this round so far.

BS he simply grew tired of the lies and finally ask for public proof

Yeah it says some people won't put up with be jerked around for months

Oh cry me a river. The way he could handled it differently would have been to provide the proof or a legit answer as to why HE NEVER made the donation.

How is charitable to say you're selling tee shirts with all proceeds going to Childrens Hospital and then never actually donate the money?

Post the receipt and make everyone eat their words! You can't huh?

How about just make the donation that he was originally suppose to make?

For a community that is often under attack from the outside, we as snowmobilers sure spend a lot of time picking each other apart for sport.

Waaaaaaaaaaaa... I'm so glad I didn't make the big donation I was this close to making. I would not have been nearly as civil about being scammed as Paul has been.
Whatever all important innerweb reputation you care about so dearly is hereby trashed. You're never going to live this down boys.

Done with the pit of your own making huh? It is your thread. OK. Step one was to talk to you. I called you several times and did ask you about this during one of those calls. Emailed a bunch and asked you again. Got no explanation. Was I patient and give you time? This all occurred over a three month period, so i think yes. Step two was to bring it up on here. Not pretty but I had to do it to hear you and give others a chance to help resolve this. You've stonewalled me, but of all the people involved in this is their not one you can trust with the proof? I've heard plenty from them, but nothing about your proof. Enough of this bla bla bla getting nowhere. It's obvious we're at an impasse and you won't budge. What is a call going to reveal Troy? Do you think i'll believe your story? Put all that in an email and I'll read it and won't post it. I began step three today. Time to pull this thread yet?

This has gone way too far........

I don’t know who is right or who is wrong in this whole mess. That is if there is a right or wrong.

The interaction I had with Troy leads me to believe he is a straight up guy. Contrary to public polls I’m not going to take anyone to the stables over a exaggerated pissing contest over a receipt.

Bottom line, even if, a big if, Troy did do this, it should have never been brought on here ! There’s other ways of settling this

What are the moderators taking bets.......get this crap off here !

Here we go with the whining to the moderators. Were you all tattle tales in kindergarten? I have an idea take it off the forum and contact Childrens legal counsel about a fraudulent charity activity in their name. This might get good lol

Thats really all that needs to be said, but since I was involved in this SCAM and YOU posted this in a public forum I get to have my say now. I don't care how many of your friends come on here and stick up for you, you are a pis poor business man, and con artist unless you post the proof in this public forum, this is where it started and this is where it should end, you choose.

I was one of the first to paypal for a t shirt, in fact 2 shirts, I promptly paid that first night by paypal and received an acknowledgment from YOU that night that you had in fact received my paypal, that was the last I heard from you, after a month I sent you a email and PM on here, I also posted in the T shirt thread, I got no response from you, I am a trusting person so I waited another month, I then sent another email and PM, I also posted in the T shirt thread, I was scolded for asking questions about you, even Bushy posted on there and told me to be patient, he assured me you working on the problem, OK, so I waited another month and filed a paypal grievance and posted again in the T shirt thread, I had several people PM and said they were also missing T shirts, then Bushy PMd me and gave me your # and assured me you were still working on the problem, I tried the # but always got voice mail, so now its been over 3 months, and I knew I had been ripped off my a con artist and common thief,

I posted some more about it and that got some attention from everyone but YOU. Bushy finally stepped up and found you and I assume pressured you into coming clean with a few shirts, again, Bushy solved my problem not you, you never connected me after taking my money, Bushy sent me my shirts not you, you will not get any respect from me again, you are a con artist and common theif, as for the charity deal, man up and prove me wrong.

You chose the public forum.

What a shame! Alrevedup had a chance to clear his name and all he did was make himself look like a crook.

I've witnessed alot of people that join organizations talking about saving the world and the greater good ,but really what most are after is strictly for personal benifit and networking for there business. Its really a shame if this happens to be that situation.

Which hospital was this supposed to be sent to?

The T shirt donation was started on here and needs to be finished here.

"you've pretty much trashed that good name to the readers who don't know him as well."

Ummm, I am one of those readers that knows neither one. But the refusal to post proof when faced with the loss of ones reputation assures me I want nothing to do with this person....ever. Only the accused party damaged himself. Right or wrong the way he is handling this makes me want to avoid him.

Just a thought from an uninvolved party.

Post the proof clear yourself.

.

Our donation of 1200.00 to Children's Hospital was made. For the sake of clarity I will say it again. Our donation of 1200.00 to Children's Hospital was made. It was sent in October of 2008.

You guys win! not one person has called to hear it straight from the horses mouth.

After spending a lot of time on the phone trying to track down this donation.

I have found this out. As an individual a donation can be made easily. As a group a donation/fundraiser must be approved by the Children's Hospital. There is a specific approval form and process. Which includes submitting the form and then reviewed by a committee. I did not submit this form. The donation was never recorded nor the the check cashed. The check should have been returned. I have nothing that was sent back to me. I may have thrown it out as advertising I dont know.

That is why Paul did not find any record of it.

Here is what the form looks like.

Once I realized that Paul was not just yanking my chain and he is right, that there is no record of the donation. I made that donation to and thru an organization that has done great work for the Children's Hospital of Colorado.

The Scottish Rite Foundation ........ http://www.scottishritefoundation.org/default.aspx

I have a copy of the letter and check for anyone who wants to see it. And I will post the thank you letter and receipt once I receive it.

I wish anyone, one person would have called me to hear what is going on.

I also pmed copies to a few people.
