Well I didn't order a shirt so that must mean that I'm not a relevant party and don't deserve an explanation. That's fine. What I can't understand is that if the donation was in fact made, I would have expected you to provide proof of it and make Paul look like an idiot for doubting you. Most important, it would give you far more credibility than just a couple of guys saying that you are a great guy. If it were me, I would provide some type of tangible proof to put this thing to bed for good. Why are you refusing to do this?

Really what he is saying is that its not most of our's business, and that if it really is your business then call the guy and he will provode you with the proof. Which makes sense. No need to prove anything to a bunch of strangers that have nothing to do with it.

I think when the legitimacy of a charitable fund is called into question, it's everybody who has, will or may donate in the future to something similar's business because a question left in someone's mind may cause them to reconsider whether they are willing to donate in the future. I have absolutely zero interest in this personally, but it makes me wonder about the things I have donated to in the past which makes me leary about my future dealings.
As one who stays away from the club, good ole boy's network in sledding I tend to not get involved in this stuff, but had I ever read the threads about this stuff & seen it was going to charity I would have donated.
My only point is that charitable orginazations have it tough enough, they don't need the doubt in folks' mind to keep them from giving when they likely would otherwise. Proof is a very simple thing & would set people's mind at ease about future dealings.
Yeah, it would raise doubt about the legitness of the person/group doing a fundraiser for a charity. I would prove I paid the charity, not to rub it in the other guys face, but to clear up the whole charity fraud issue, but aparently this guy has his reasons, and maybe part of it is the way the other guy came across yesterday about it. Just got to be careful on the charity stuff.

You disappeared in October and just now came back here. What are we to think of your character and integrity? I judge a person’s character by the way I see them. Your pedigree is impressive and props to you for all that, but it means not a lot to me in my dealings with you.
I did think the whole 100% donation thing sounded a little strange. I recommended you keep a percentage to cover your costs. You said no, but that you'd start keeping all the profits for the shirts after the snow-show run of shirts was sold. To be honest, that didn't sit well with me. Not sure why, but I let it go.
I typically don't make hollow adolescent beat down internet threats, but you did. Should I post the pm with the first childish threats between us? Post mine, I don't recall any other than my response to yours in the thread you had pulled. I did make a snyde comment regarding donations in Beer Guts post, and yes it was pointed at you, but very few would have gotten that bad joke. I was fed up, am fed up and continue to be fed up. It did get ya back on SW though and that’s when we had our little PM fight where you ended saying you’d make me eat that receipt. Still waiting to do that and I will if it’s dated OCT 2 or so. Children’s has no record of a donation in any of the three biz names I have for you, your name, your last name, snowest forum ride, nor do they have any donations for the amounts between $1100 and $1300 dollars meeting any conceivable description for you between sep 1 2008 to Nov 30 2008. They could have fouled up and I could be as wrong as wrong, but i'm holding out for something more than you've offered thus far.
