You know sledding runs in your blood when......

When you quit your cushy job to go work on the rigs, so you can work 2 weeks to ride one week,
When your sled is in your rig rocket so you can ride for a hour or 2 after your 12 hour shift.
 
...When you go to read this thread and to see that 99% of the members that posted are still online later in the evening!
 
you and your riding buddies get together in July and wash all the sleds up and load them on the trailer just to cruise around town and watch everyone stare

when you check the snotel in september hoping to see it jump up from 0 to 0.2 inches of snow
 
Whenever you're driving---
You look at a hill side or steep embankment and think to yourself... I could climb that. Another wash-out you pass along the road spurs memories of steep creek bottoms you have made it through, full of snow. Or if you notice the roofs of buildings resemble mountain ranges you have rode in. Anything you look at you think about how good of a launch you can get from hitting it on your sled....
And last but not least you have more money tied up into your sled than you do in your best truck, and your sled is more reliable

Well after reading all these posts, Im glad to see that Im not the only one doing these crazy things. I have to show this thread to the GF.

Its not crazy if everyone does right?
 
HURRAY!!! getting my sled dropped off at my home away from home (college) this weekend. now i can go do grass drags with some fellas in the grass around campus.... ahahah im gonna get kicked out of school.
