My sled wont start.

I have a 2010 polaris rmk 600 155 cfi it has been running great. but a few weeks ago i did something a bit stupid and had my theather on me when i started my sled it started but the in the same moment the theather got ripped off and killed the sled instantly after that it wont start. we have baught a new theater head, it gets enough fuel and it gets good spark but as soon as it get spark it just wont turn on we have tried engine starter gas did not start we tried putting fresh and new sparkplugs in did not work and we do not know what to do anymore. does anyone know what may cause the problem? cus it has been rebuilt before i baught it and when i have ridden i have had no issues so i do not know what it can be.

Unplug the injector wiring plugs from the stator and measure the resistance of the injector coils. (4 wire plug with white/white-red and dark green/white dark green wires).
Note resistance values are at 20C.
But why would i have injector problems if I get enough fuel. Cus when is gets spark and tries to start its almost like you have the killer down

Good point. You said when it gets spark does that mean it doesn't get spark all the time? Is this electric start or pull start?

And it gets a a few seconds off spark when it does that the injectors will get fuel in to the engine and turn the engine but the injectors stop for some reason to shoot fuel in to the engine

So you really don't know what happens first then. Did you have issues before you damaged the tether? How did the tether get ripped off? Did the sled takeoff and crash into something? I'm trying to imagine what happened because a normal case of a tether being pulled out by reaching the end of the cord does not do damage. Did you replace the whole tether assembly including the backside where it plugs into the wiring harness of the sled? You said your replaced the tether head. I'm not sure what you mean by that.

I replaced the actual top off the theather that gets pulled off when you pull the theather off. And no it has not been crashed the sled is actually in good condition.

I think the tether incident was unrelated.

You may have a throttle safety killing your engine or your symptoms sound just like when a stator pukes. Kinked or stiff cable, etc.

Or.

Quick flash of headlight, just enough sputter to trick you into thinking it’s gonna run, then dead.

All right, I was just wondering if anything could have been shook loose but apparently not.
