Yamahas are for little girls

What realy is lame on both sleds is no storage not even a spot for a water bottle and skidoo packs are on backorder or thats what the dealer says. the nytro not sure what I amd going to do about the storage on that all I know is my back pack sure is getting heavy.:beer;

Buy the gas can thingy and the Cab-B, remove the light bracket from the tunnel, mount both mounts on the tunnel. Ride with the gas closest to the seat to start the day. Dump your gas when you want, then move the Cab-B bag to the mount closest to the seat. Put your gas in your tank to make the trail ride back smoother and mount the empty can on the back mount. It works great and I have never had 1 issue with his products and have sold about 20 of them besides my 6. Solve your problem IMO.

I thought this was a site for fellow Yamaha riders!

I come on here looking for some useful information and maybe a couple of good riding pictures and what do I read..... My skidoo is better than your yamaha, or will a turbo nytro be as good as my m1000. It's heavy, it's front heavy, it is tippy, it won't turn, it turns too fast, will my wife like it. How do I get in touch with ice age manufacturing, (they really need to put the phone number on the website). Is Timbersled any good? Do i need to change the track? What track is best? Can I make my sled as light as my old rev? And my personal favorite, that sled is only good for the long wide open pulls of Revy, and it will never work in the "tight" trees and "technical" places that I ride. Sometimes I just wonder why all this petty nonsense fills cyberspace, then I relax and remember it is typed by petty humans who need to justify the payment that they make on the shiney sled that sits in the garage most of the year depreciating. If you ask a question on a forum for yamaha riders then don't expect them to steer you to a skidoo, and if you come on the yamaha board and flame yamaha don't expect everyone to suddenly drop what they are doing and drink the skidoo cool-aid. Also please remember that most of the information on the internet is still BU?? ??it anonymously posted by angry A??h??es like me. Use the search feature if it works. If you want to know if a sled is any good post asking someone local to go for a ride and swap sleds, try riding the sled you are posting about before you post, also note that people like different set ups, and the same model sled tweaked ever so slightly can perform radically different. Don't flame the M1000 because you saw one that could not climb a trail (or you read on a forum). And don't confuse a good rider for a good machine, a great rider will make my sled do things that I can't and I can make a great sled look like a pile of poo. So now lets see some cool pictures or a good discussion on clutches or where to drink beer after a ride, because only little girls ride yamahas and there is no need to debate it any more.
So if you posted this on the yami site did you make sure you did the same for the other three? All the sled manufacturers make great sleds, just boils down to personal preferance. Why make the matter worse? It's hard enough with all of the environmental groups to keep our great winter freedom. I visit this site to talk with fellow riders of the same liking. No hockey, bragging rights, etc. The last time I looked, I didn't see a single Yamaha supporter pushing the buttons on the SkiDoo site. Let the sleds speak for themselves in the mountains!

Very, Very, nice post sledchick. Good pics and honest answers. Hold on--------------
had to wipe the drool off,
what were we talkin about anyway?

How do I stop the drooling?:D

BINGO! couldnt have said it better.

I have some real world for you, I have a new nytro in my trailer 60 miles on it and a new rev 300 miles on it. The nytro is better in the trees and more nimble. The rev in a point and shoot will out climb it every time when the nytro is stuck its a 2 pearson job when the rev is stuck its a 1 pearson job. I love both sleds the nytro will get a turbo thats why I bought it. If you want a great trail sled and a great boondocker in snowconditions packed with a 1-2 feet of powder they nytro is the sh$t but if you have deep snow and no boost and you are off trail in the nytro and you are not on your game you will have a real long day on the nytro the rev or the cat will eat its lunch. Oh I have a cat to. I think the rev is a easier sled to ride for a beginner just cause its not tippy like the nytro but a tippy sled for (ME) makes a great boondocker sled if you know what to expect I would not put my wife on the nytro she would tip it over.

I'll second that motion. Powder with base the Nytro will go all day but without a base is a different story. Trees are a breeze even with the heavy steering feel. I was tired and the end of the day though.

I posted on the Yamaha board because it is the only one I read. And please quit trying to get me to love the nytro as that is what I ride. And yes when normally aspirated the nytro will get highmarked by the doo all other things being equal, but not by a great distance. The title of the post was an attempt at SARCASM. And how about them Chiefs 2-0 with a dominant performance, and the opportunity to take a commanding 3 games to one lead on home ice tonight. As for the ladies that ride yamaha, I meant no disrespect with my post. At least my life is complete now pineunderdoo has blessed this thread with his comments (that I will never see unless quoted as he is blocked)

That is strange I thought my nytro felt lite in the front end compared to the rev I guess this goes to show that Opinions sure vary. As far as the high mark the sleds are close I have taken down the rev a couple times but in general I cant.

isnt the blocking feature a wonderful thing...like you, I enjoy not having to read his pointless pontifications...
