Yamahas are for little girls

I come on here looking for some useful information and maybe a couple of good riding pictures and what do I read..... My skidoo is better than your yamaha, or will a turbo nytro be as good as my m1000. It's heavy, it's front heavy, it is tippy, it won't turn, it turns too fast, will my wife like it. How do I get in touch with ice age manufacturing, (they really need to put the phone number on the website). Is Timbersled any good? Do i need to change the track? What track is best? Can I make my sled as light as my old rev? And my personal favorite, that sled is only good for the long wide open pulls of Revy, and it will never work in the "tight" trees and "technical" places that I ride. Sometimes I just wonder why all this petty nonsense fills cyberspace, then I relax and remember it is typed by petty humans who need to justify the payment that they make on the shiney sled that sits in the garage most of the year depreciating. If you ask a question on a forum for yamaha riders then don't expect them to steer you to a skidoo, and if you come on the yamaha board and flame yamaha don't expect everyone to suddenly drop what they are doing and drink the skidoo cool-aid. Also please remember that most of the information on the internet is still BU?? ??it anonymously posted by angry A??h??es like me. Use the search feature if it works. If you want to know if a sled is any good post asking someone local to go for a ride and swap sleds, try riding the sled you are posting about before you post, also note that people like different set ups, and the same model sled tweaked ever so slightly can perform radically different. Don't flame the M1000 because you saw one that could not climb a trail (or you read on a forum). And don't confuse a good rider for a good machine, a great rider will make my sled do things that I can't and I can make a great sled look like a pile of poo. So now lets see some cool pictures or a good discussion on clutches or where to drink beer after a ride, because only little girls ride yamahas and there is no need to debate it any more.

If playboy had deep powder sled pics I would enjoy, but until then... As for the Skandic you may be on to something. Heavy, underpowered but reliable with a big wide track to float. But I am afraid that I may not have properly communicated my feelings so I will try and do a better job. My main issue is that I don't care what sled is better or faster or lighter, I just want to have more fun with the sled I happen to be riding this weekend. And I get tired of reading the same posts over and over again. Basically I wish I were riding instead of reading. And one more thing, the Chiefs are going to win tonight over the Americans 3 - 1 in regulation.

I'm soooo confused. If that's true why do all the guys who try to ride mine come back and say "I'm not man enough to ride that sled"?????????????????? Or, "I don't have big enough kahunas to ride that thing"?????????????????.

Stlhead...I agree 100% with your original post. That is why I haven't been on here lately. I hate sifting through the crap to actually try and help a serious poster. I for one, appreciate all the constructive threads about setups and what not...but the rest is useless! :rolleyes: Oh well....I don't have much to contribute anyways.:beer;

Punisher, did you get that feminine sled of yours out this last weekend? I heard it was good on Saturday around Priest. Also should be good this weekend with all the new snow.

well then dont go to snowest.com any more if u dont like it it aint like any body is telling u to get on here un less ur wife told u to go on to snowest for help on tuneing ur sled to beat hers

The Chiefs

They should be up 2-0 in the series, in regulation, in both games. IMHO they've been out playing them. But that's just me.

Take the red pill :face-icon-small-win

Sometimes it's good to get in touch with your feminine side. The best place to drink beer after the ride is at camp or in the motor home anticipating another hard day of riding tomorrow.
And the only place to ride, Alaska, :p oh yea!!!!!!!

I have some real world for you, I have a new nytro in my trailer 60 miles on it and a new rev 300 miles on it. The nytro is better in the trees and more nimble. The rev in a point and shoot will out climb it every time when the nytro is stuck its a 2 pearson job when the rev is stuck its a 1 pearson job. I love both sleds the nytro will get a turbo thats why I bought it. If you want a great trail sled and a great boondocker in snowconditions packed with a 1-2 feet of powder they nytro is the sh$t but if you have deep snow and no boost and you are off trail in the nytro and you are not on your game you will have a real long day on the nytro the rev or the cat will eat its lunch. Oh I have a cat to. I think the rev is a easier sled to ride for a beginner just cause its not tippy like the nytro but a tippy sled for (ME) makes a great boondocker sled if you know what to expect I would not put my wife on the nytro she would tip it over. But all and all I sold a boosted apex it was a great sled just to heavy (for me) in the packed snow conditions that we have in washington In the powder the apex was a great boondocker But the rev was better.
Dont get me wrong the rev is a great sled I have to wonder about the realy thin parts on it though, But it has not had any issues this year same belt no broken parts.
What realy is lame on both sleds is no storage not even a spot for a water bottle and skidoo packs are on backorder or thats what the dealer says. the nytro not sure what I amd going to do about the storage on that all I know is my back pack sure is getting heavy.:beer;
As far as the rev and not being as nimble fealing I think its more in the way it feals than reality when I give it a tug it goes when I lean my head on the nytro it goes if I am not paying attention the nytro will be on its side the rev wont do that.
