XP with 66 aero charger turbo

It just seems that with the added torque and horsepower, the clutches are going to come out of alignment worse than they currently are. Thought maybe you guys might have looked into a torque stop or something like that. My sled is still killing belts at 155hp, I would be nervous running 230 hp through the set-up like it is, but maybe I am just smoking crack. Looks like a very clean, well thought out kit though... Good job!

Big John has a Torque stop kit if you are worried.

You dont need one, its a gimmick. Any turbo is gonna go thru belts faster than a stock motor. More HP=more wear. :D

How much for (3) turbo kits?

Change brand of belts and dial up the boost! Its not the motor alignment, its the belts IMO. Too soft, heat up and melt. Torque stop is not the fix. A 300+ HP Yammy or any other 2S turbo will twist the motor farther out of alignment than any stock XP and they run a lot farther on a belt. Just my thoughts.

Nice kit BTW! Looking forward to seeing it run!

how will this kit work on a 800rBB, have you tried any out?? kit is a bit pricey to some out there, i would love to try one out prior to buying

primary engagment must be higher for quick turbo spool?? how much weight are you adding.. what fuel is needed, is a crank mod needed for this setup

thanks for the info

Right know at the moment this kit needs race fuel. we are working a on a pump gas set up. I just can't get enough time to finish the r&d because i am trying to stay above the demand for kits.

Yes we have two bb's on the snow right now and they are working fine.

no crank changes are needed.

turbos will spool up and create hp at about 1500 rpms, so no higher engagement. you will be the same weight as stock. The 66 kit is $7395.00 and the 53 kit is $6395.00 us.

We have had no belt issues. about 3% of the xp that came from skidoo had motors that were out of alignment. that does need to be fixed. But as no second chances said the wrong compounds are the biggest problem. as long as you set up your clutches correctly they work great.

thanks for the comments guys!!!

I wish that we could make these things cheaper but we try and try. r&d cost a ton of money. Mostly because you try something then go back and try something else and so on. If you would like to do one yourself I can probably piont you in the right direction but you will still have a 200 hr learning curve in r&d.
