XP 1000 new bashing thread

because our gallon is bigger, The US gallon is only 3.72 litres, while the metric Gallon is 4.45 litres

You see when you are comparing different gallons you use the METRIC system which is the only correct way to do it.
Why dont use plain litres instead?

Your stuck in the past guys.
Forget about those gallons, inches, foot, punds blah, blah, blah.
They are way to big units to use these days

It's the metric system that rules todays industries
Wake up you too!

Yea still waiting on my cylinder, due to a broken skirt.

Havin a steel sleeve put in it with Wiesco pisons, hpin wiesco will start making larger pistons for it, for it will be borable after this fix. Wiesco has 3 piston sizes available for the 800 motor

All that and only add oil once/year!

Here is the link to all the info on the E-TEC. It states "Oil Economy - Most owners will have to add oil just once per season because of the added precision of the system's electronic oil pump and sophisticated computer mapping." And the Canadians will only have to add it once every other year!:)

Anyway, they have said improved mileage/oil economy for years and every year it's the same. Anybody really believe this will be any different? It also says no more smoke. If you've ever started a 2 stroke vs a 4 stroke in an enclosed trailer there is a huge difference, I for one would love to see it on the 600, 800 and this rumored 1000.

my 05 rt1000 is a trench digger. i would never buy another one. and if they cant keep a belt on the 800's, how in gods name are they going to be able to keep one on the 1000? a chain maybe??? for the driveshafts.. they are HOLLOW. hmm.. i dont know but i think skidoo went a little overboard trying to save wieght.
