XP 1000 new bashing thread

Doo needs to do something , because the last two years they went backwards.
and the other brands only gained and past them in many areas.
I think a 1000 would sell like hot cakes .( they could bragg again weight + H.p. = the best out there )

Does the true doo loyalist beleive it will work ( meaning will it run on snow properly)

I dont know what your talking about, but my Xp 163" kicks a$$ on other 800's but bigger sleds with smaller riders too!!!

The only thing they did wrong is make the other companies look really bad!

I cant wait to see the thousand if this is all true!

I guess if you consider pushing the bounds on what is possible with a stock sled going backwards,(430 lb 800) then, OK..... I agree.

I think this machine might be OK. 4 years of "re-tuning" on the 1000 twin....I assume thats the motor they will use. And second year on the XP chassis....maybe the bugs will be lessened. I had a gut feeling about the XP and kept my $$ in my wallet this year....and I'm glad I did.

Edit, as for problems; the first year it would not shift right, after fuel and clutch ajustments I just fuel it up and bag the heck out of it. Never touched the engine other than clean the reeds and RAves,,, about 2K miles.
