Wyoming Laws regarding carrying a weapon on a Snowmobile?

Hey guys, hopefully I dont stir up a ****storm here, but I am wondering if anyone has some info on the laws regarding carrying a pistol on a snowmobile. I am from Iowa and my concealed carry permit has reciprocity with Wyoming. However, here in a Iowa i am not allowed to carry on snowmobile. I did some looking on the Wyoming code regarding weapons permits, and I could not find were it explicitly stated that you may or may not. Just wanting to cover my bases here. I'd rather not have a discussion on why I am interested in the matter, please.

Why do you want to carry a gun while your snowmobiling?
I believe you can carry it on your sled. Not positive.

Search around in here somewhere. I posted the same question last year at one point.

I too am from Iowa...
I never saw anything against it in Wyoming law. You're biggest differences in Wy from Iowa are. Not to carry in a bar, or while consuming, and any place posted as a weapons-free establishment.

I wasn't too concerned with having one on my person while riding, just legality of having one packed away.

Wy DOES recognize Iowas weapons permit...

Im just not 100% about carrying while riding. Which is illegal in iowa. Last year when I looked into it, im pretty sure it was legal for a permitted Iowan to carry while riding in WY. This year however, i dont know...

WY is not a right to inform state, such as Nebraska... So unless you are specifically asked, or placed under arrest, you dont need to inform anyone you are armed.

Beings youre from Iowa, check out this bill!!!

Contact the sponsors and other elected officials in it's support! :)

My permit is good everywhere I go, until a judge tells me otherwise:tongue:. In 15 years of having my permit I've never been in a situation where a cop/ranger needs to know what I have on me or near me. Like Mold said there is no trail gnome checking for weapons that I know of.

You're good to carry in Wyoming. I have a permit from North Dakota and I'm covered. Wyoming changed their regs last year, so anybody can carry that's not specifically not supposed to carry.
