Sturg, something else to consider...once the meds get started and he is able to identify when the med is wearing off he can learn to identify some things. Some kids can be counseled to learn to identify when it's happening eventually, they are able to self correct. They learn to cope and deal with it...that's the best method because it allows them to do it without meds.
Kids that CHOOSE not to concentrate vs kids that CAN'T concentrate are two totally different things. LOL

Me being a kid in school, I hate having to sit at a desk all day long. I feel I have ADHD myself sometimes, just because of the fact the subject(etc.) is just so boring. Their is a couple kids at my school that are actually ADHD and their is a night and day difference when they do take their meds compared to when they dont.
