Worried about clutching - secondary spring

makes sense, gotta be because they are trying to phase out the 98 that they don't have the info on their site anymore.

After looking at the spring very closely and compressing it with my belt removal tool, I am convinced the spring is rubbing and binding on the cup.... I took it into the dealer and after consulting them we came to the same conclusion that I needed the larger cup....


$11 later to have it installed and I will be monitoring clutch heat this weekend (with a new belt) to see if my problem is fixed.

Good deal, let us know how it works. Not fitting in the cup right would have completely changed how the spring and clutch reacted so I am sure it will be a big improvement. $11 and one very expensive belt. I would be asking for a new belt for that screw up on their part.

I'm not gonna worry about it... believe me, I have gotten plenty of good deals from them in the past, including the purchase of the sled.... I bought it dirt cheap and it has treated me better than I could have ever hoped
