Dude - this is the greatest country in the world and largely due to the way our economy is "set up". The "rich get richer and the poor work harder" crap is nonsense. There are very few places left in the world where a poor guy can become rich by hard work or quick thinking or a combination of both. How would you have it? Should the rich share their wealth? If so Why? Why should anyone have what someone else created (wealth) without participating in that creation? Communism and socialism have both failed already why do people keep trying to go there?
Just for the record, I am not the guy selling the wii for a profit, I am the dummy that payed $375 for it so it could be under the tree Christmas morning. I did that voluntarily because to me the value of having it now exceeded the price I paid, even though I know it is an inflated price. Just the same as if I ordered a part for my sled and paid extra to have it here overnight vs. in 3-4 days.
i don't see any problem with what the guy is doin... its the idiot parents willing to pay retail+ pricing on a friggin toy that create these things... kinda like those vids you've all seen of the 15yr old girl WHINING about the color of her new lexus mom and dad bought for her cuz they thought it would make her happy... I mean cmon, WTF? people!!!

People are being ridiculous, nothing wrong with turning a profit, businesses do it all day long, buy wholesale and sell higher for a profit. If you're smart enough to get something for less than its worth, than you deserve the profit at resale, whether it be real estate, an autombile, or a Wii.
I'm with you Jeff... To the people complaining, it almost sounds if you'd be better off living under a communist regime. Ask Fidel how that's going....

Close enough to Christmas that people will back off if they aren't sure they'll get them in time. Mark my words, but the first weekend in January, the shelves will be full of them.
I've been waiting for Guitar Hero III for PS3 and no one has them in stock either. I'm a big boy, I'll live without it until they are back in stock.
Fidel did quite a bit for his country. Before him Cuba was basically owned by people from the US. The large resorts, hotels and such with the profits going back to America. The local people were being crapped all over, no jobs, in poverty, little to no education system, yet all around them was prosperity that they couldn't get to and they were the locals. When he kicked the U.S. out, the standard of living for Cubans increased dramatically.
It is interesting that the opinion of Castro varies depending upon the generation of people you talk with. The older generations that were alive before Castro came into power liked what he did, while the younger generations only see his methods of trying to stay in power/control. I am not trying to defend him, but he did help the Cubans a lot, then proceeded to go off the deep end.
Just a FWIW
At risk of taking this thread right of the rails, I'll go there. If Cuba is such a wonderful place to live, why are basic personal hygiene products hard to come by and unaffordable to the common person?
