winter x games snowmo best trick

Can't wear a tether on some of those tricks. Good idea just not feasible for some stuff.

OH but you can, the Teth-Air tether does not use a leash but a wireless signal, so if you get separated from the sled by "X" distance it will kill it. You have complete freedom of movement on and around the sled, can get it unstuck ect without it killing it. From my understanding you can trim the antenna to provide the amount of distance away "X" you want. A small black box on the sled and a small wrist watch size transmitter that is worn somewhere on your body (in a pocket or whatever).

I have nothing to gain by this, I've just read their pitch and will be trying one on my next build.

That azzclown had no business being there, who invited or thought a previous gold medal winner could cross over and allowed that? Really...there was no one else no alternates? Wonder what the lawsuit is gonna look like over that shiit.
Noticed next rider put his round his wrist " just in case ".

And oh yeah Parsons was totally robbed! He was pretty polished when he threw that.
the judges choked.

innerweb tough guys make me giggle...tehehehe

How about a tree slay session..or some kind of Mountain free riding
How about Snowmobiing...BEST LINE...competition.

I don't think he's being an innerweb tough guy. A 250 pound 2 stroke dirtbike does not act like a 450 pound sled. The basic physics are the same but there is an entire slew of stuff in between that make them in different worlds. The powerband is way different. A 250 2s bike might make 30-45 hp at elevation where a 2s sled will make over a 100 (properly tuned of course) then you have contact area. A bike's contact surface is 1-2" front/rear whereas a sled's is 42-15" front to rear. With practice that kid may be able to compete next year but he just changed the rule books and possibly opened up a lawsuit against the Games. On National TV it was broadcast that he had up to four hours of experience. You put a noob on a sled and four hours later, he's still gonna suck.

dizz you see my facebook post about "real snow" they do freeride backcountry videos for x games medals for snowboarders... should do it for sleds too.

this motorcycle kid had no business being on a sled. After his second wreck the sled was WFO again, but luckily it landed on its side. and the judges screwed parsons and frisby...

I think that's a super idea. You would have to create an event or circuit and run it for a couple seasons. Use that to gain some exposure and hit XGames up. It would draw some great riders out and into the light. I think it would be great for the freeride side of the sport anyways.

You are right, that kid has no place on a sled until he learns and practices. In his own yard, own ramp and his own foam pit.

Not sure what my thoughts are on X this year, seemingly disappointed I think. Nothing ever changes, same ole same ole in our eyes. It is still fun to watch, but so many things seem set up for TV and the media dollar.

On this topic, it is absolutly insane that they dont have some sort of restriction to shut the sleds off. Same thing that they run in monster trucks etc. All racers have to have a tether setup, these guys should have some sort of engine shut off as well.

That's was my point. Thanks, apparently my comment didn't fly over everyone's head. Tudizzle, I don't know what you thought I meant by my comment, but you definitely took it the wrong way.

what kinda pisses me off is that on his second run he doesn't land it and it pins the gas wide open again but this time its on it's handlebars. He gets up and smacks the ski and is mad about not landing it and then walks off. Lets someone else go up to the sled and hit the kill. Why didn't he jump right up and hit the kill. Kinda makes me think he is a little arrogant.

Yeah, I noticed that. Like he's got "handlers" and some kind of primadonna image.

When he's on that big of a sports stage, with only 4 hours on a sled his entire life...and that attitude...I hate to say it, but he's bad for sledding.

I was thinking the same thing, quit throwing a tantrum and get the sled shut off. And Joe Parsons got screwed imo. The Gater Hater was flat impressive.

What a tool. Next thing you will hear about him is how he got hurt doing stupid things like this, has no insurance or way to pay the hospital, please send money........

Yeah, I noticed that. Like he's got "handlers" or some kind of primadonna thing.

That kind of attitude. He's bad for the entire spectrum of motorized freestyle

How do you qualify for Winter X in a sled event when you've only been on a sled for 4 hours your entire life.

IMO, that makes ESPN look bad...

It dilluted any allure to elite rider status.

Weak.

He acts like that and then theres calab more(sp) that is not doing good in the hospital. I would bet there will be some changes at x games next year. The only thing is the stunts there trying to do you cant really do much to protect yourselves from when it goes wrong. I agree this years x games was kinda mellow not much new and exciting. I would also agree that the gator hater was better.

Proof that you dont have experience when you 'mistake' the sled brake for a motorcycle clutch. That guys got balls but why wouldnt you want to prepare more than 4 hours for the x games? Seems to me that only 4 hours of practice is not enough to be on the sports biggest stage.

"Bad for sledding"? He!! With that kind of attitude I'd consider him a needless oxygen consumer and bad for the human race!

hes part of the metal mulisha, hes good at everything that has a motor. They are all bad a at everything they do and not everybody can be apart of the mulisha. Right!! I imagine he got into the best trick because of brian deegan. I seen him in one of the shots after jackson wrecked. Deegan I imagine has a pretty large amount of say in what x games does since hes been doing all of these events over the years.
