Winston picks.................

Going what looks like sideways or crabbing down the straight away has NOTHING to do with the bodies on the car/chassis. This new car handles so bad they are cocking the rearend in the car which means the right rear is pushed back making the car always want to turn left and that makes it look like it is going sideways down the straight away, cause they are.

This new "claw" template they sit down over the whole car at once won't allow you to move twist or shift the bodies around like the old car.

Now the old car was a real race car this new COT is a POS!!! I think HONDA needs to get into NASCON racing too. Wouldn't it be cool to see Tony driving a Civic with one of those big wings and that great big soup can obnoxious exhaust. Wouldn't that be sooo cool. NOT!!!!!!!!

Oh yea almost forgot.

Sorry guys that 77 Hornish is going sideways driving it straight. :D They just said they offset the body on the frame because it's the body that gets checked under the template. Funny looking stuff.

Straighten them out, NASCAR to tell Cup teams
DAVID POOLE

CONCORD, N.C. - Expect NASCAR to tell Sprint Cup teams that they've gone far enough - and in some cases, too far - with making crooked cars.

Sprint Cup Series director John Darby said Saturday that teams will get a memo, likely this week, telling them to "clean up" the way they're turning their wheels to help the cars handle better.

"They need some of that, but there are some of them that have pushed it," Darby said.

The rear wheels on some of the cars were turned to the point that some were having difficulty being pushed onto the scales used in inspection.

Gibbs 1-2-3

Is that the order they blew there engines. that 18 could really get a hole shot on the restarts he shouldn't have pushed it so hard and would of probably held together for the 1000000

The Toy's showed some good power, if they can get that power to be reliable they will be up front every week.

I don't care what the reason, I was fine with Shrub's finish. :D
