will 07-08 DD gears fit in 09

I am wondering if the Diamond Drive gears from a 07-08 M8 or 05-06 M7 fit in the 2009 M series diamond drives. I looked threads for info on this, but I could not find a clear answer. I checked the BDX website, and they just list reverse and non-reverse gears. I am pretty sure the 07-08 will not work in the 09's.

nope won't fit, 07 and 08 had mechanical reverse, now they are engine reverse, i was gonna put a set of 09 gears in my 07 but wouldn't work for a 09 you need non-reverse

Think 05-06 non-reverse gears will fit 09-10's. BDX lists them the same way on SpeedWerx's website.

They will fit. The input gear has the same part number from cat. The bottom gear is a different part number because the 05-06 gears were welded and the 09+ bottom gear is not. The 09 bottom gear is stronger than the 05-06 gears but as far as fit they are interchangable.
