I agree, night and day difference, go for it, know a couple guys who have done it. You wont be disappointed. I think you need a tank cover from www.mountainmod.com I think, if you want it to look good. Iamvector could answer that better for you.
thats right,the only downside was having to notch the loop on tank cover or buy a mountain mod cover.

just let murry know that you want it to fit the apex seat, he makes 2 styles one for the stock seat one for the apex seat not sure if he just cuts them or molds them that way.
Snomad on here has a Wildchild rider forward kit for sale ( he is Snomadtt on TY) and I have a brand new mountain mod rider forward tank cowl for sale if anybody is looking to put on a kit together.

M5, is your tank cowl for apex seat or rx-seat? I'm getting a boss (or mountain mod) seat without the rear exit exhaust, and I figured I might as well get one that was made for the Apex...?
As far as I know the cowls are the same you just need to cut the area above the seat for the Apex seat.

yes, you need to cut it to make it fit the seat, atleast that what you need on the stock seats...how much are you asking for it?

You have seen my sled on TY (AKA TT) - Wildchild steering post, mountain mod tank cowl and apex style (OEM, mountain mod or boss) seat works fine. SnomadTT on TY wants $125 for used kit. It is a T-bar style wildchild kit. I bought a track from him when I started my project - he is one excellent guy to buy from.
