Wife buying bigger sled - good choice?

So TreeDog told me about this sled that's an 07 RMK 600 with an SLP 727 kit and it looks really good.

If a 600 is 120 HP and a 700 is 140 HP, how does an SLP 727 compare? Does that mean 727 cc? (I'm not even sure what that means) Obviously it means more power, but how much compared to the 700?

SLP Claims 150HP on their 727 Kit. It is 727 cc. It should put you right there with a stock 800 sled as far as HP goes. I have not personally had experience with a 727 but I am sure someone will chime in here. Blue Fluff if I were you I'd be very carefull when looking at modded sleds. Take someone to look at it that has an objective view, and go through it with a fine toothed comb. The 727 Kit is on sale right now on SLPs website http://startinglineproducts.com/catalog.cfm?pageID=detail&catalogID=3&catID=54&productID=850 , you could buy a new non current sled and go that route, but you would be a lot better off with a stock(ish) 700 EFI sled in a few years when its time to sell it and get a newer model.

Seriously, stick to stock for now.
If you like to wrench or want to learn, go for a mod sled.
To keep it easy, keep it stock.

Went to dealer in laramie today they have a 08 800 dragon with 300 miles for 9550----------- and a new 08 600 efi 155" track--------- dealer always has lots of nice clean sleds and is ready to deal .:)

Woohoo! Have Sherri check out the Ladies Ride forum. http://www.ladiesride.com/
There's quite the discussion about pink. Tom, from 509 Films in Spokane, is coming out with a line of ladies clothes (hats, hoodies, etc.) and was asking our opinion and a lot of the gals like the pink camo.

I know I'm going to be checking out that forum. Is Tom thinking about women's goggles too? I love the 509 goggles but would die for a pink pair. :D

Yes, Tom is working on women's 509 goggles (in addition to other women's clothing). Most women (including myself) are fine with the current size of goggles, so I don't think he's making smaller ones. But he said R&D takes awhile so we may not see them this season. He was looking for suggestions for colors. Pink is a big hit.
