What do you think, What is the real reason you go sledding?

To have fun?

OR

To impress your friends or other people?

I'm getting bored waiting for it to snow and thought I would see what the general consensus is:beer;:beer;

How about a check for adrenaline? I'm a average rider but I've done things without a witness and been just as amped up as I would be with a audience.

I ride for the adrenaline, the beauty of the nature, friendship and the inexplicable feeling that starts in your toes and work all the way up when you clear a big jump, get over the hill top or carves throug fresh pow........daim I miss winter

For Fun For Sure! Going places and seeing things you would never see other than from a sled. The thrill of riding the deepest powder you can find with so much snow coming over the hood you can barely see. The calculated risk and adrenaline from making that technical climb, jump or drop you weren't to confident about. And the best of all is spending some well deserved time with family and friends.

I'm all about the escape from everyday life. When I'm out riding nothing else matters- no uncompleted projects around the house, no worries about what I need to get done at work, nothing. The only thing that's important is the powder that's in front of me or over the next hill.

I get a feeling of calm, of clarity, of being mentally and spiritually refreshed. That's what riding is about for me.

I sled because its the freedom of going where ever I want haveing the powder come up and over your hood, the feeling that you are just floating on top of 8 to 10 feet of snow or climbing up a nice steep hill that you are uncertain if you will make it to the top or not
all together it just equals a great time with your friends and family

Couldn't have said it any better myself. It was snowing two weeks ago and now its 90 out WTF!

I sled for the fun, the adrenaline, the drive to push myself to the next best thing, and especially for the flat out amazing views. When you are sitting on top of a 10,000 ft peak on a blue bird day it is like you are in another world. That is a view not many people in this world will ever take in and we are the few that get to. For that we are incredibly lucky!

Purley fun . There is always someone better so i figure if i impress my self and have fun i am being all i can be.oh and for that rush when you know your just along for the ride or on the edge of disaster. Go big and have fun .

You nailed it man:beer;:cool:

I also sled because I like to be challenged and I like to learn. Practicing my sidehilling, counter steering, and climbimg does all that. Every situation offers another learning opportunity. The adrenaline rush of scaring yourself is addicting.
