WHY COME TO COLORADO?

I just moved here a month ago, and I'm liking it here more each day.

Seems the title of this thread should be:

"Why Ever Leave Colorado?"

Ya, now everyone's moving to Colorado by the busload because everyone is talking about "how great" Colorado is. Now every day that goes by, Colorado is looking more and more like New York City....

I was talking to a born/raised native the other day, and she said that she's never seen so much construction in her whole life as she has in the last two years..

I've only lived here nine years and have noticed cow pastures everywhere explode into full blown towns and high-density housing. Well, so much for beautiful Colorado... :face-icon-small-sad

Yup, I was born and raised in SW Colorado....saw the same thing happening. And because of it, the politics have changed completely. Colorado used to be a very "free" thinking state, with the western frontier mentality. Now, it's Kalifornicated.....ugh.

Just think, nine years ago YOU were a new neighbor to someone THINKING THE SAME THING about you
