who's vents best for PRO RMK

We use aluminum and ABS plastic for our vents. Good for resisting tear or puncture from tree branches, knees, ice, etc.
We changed some of our vents recently from aluminum to ABS plastic. The snow doesn't stick to them and clog it up. all forward facing clutch side vents are now ABS; exhaust side is still aluminum to prevent melting.

If you buy knee vents buy the holz ones..i ran the mod rod ones last year and destroyed both within 2 days..mesh just dosnt work around the knee area

We have the holz metal knee vents. If you don't wear knee pads they will kill your knee caps. I have two Pro's and a 2013 on the way. I am not going to vent the new one. IMO it's a waste of money. For us riding in Cooke City, Montana, and Island Park Idaho, where the snow is deep. I could not tell the difference between, before venting, and after venting. It always runs at 125 degrees. The only thing I will do to the 2013 is proper clutch set up, rip all of the foam out, and do the F-Bomb track trim. Call me crazy, but for me, after doing the track trim it did run cooler on the trails, hooked up a little better, and defiantly braked better. I know people on here put the screens in the foot wells but I have never had an issue with snow getting in. $.02 :light:
