Who's 09 M8's tracks wearing out on the sides?

Noticed my track brading is showing on the edges of the track. Has anyone noticed it...Could it be rubbing on the rivets of the chasi or ice build up....anyone notice?

Do a search lots posted on this topic. I make sure my track is adjusted before every ride and don't see an issue, but there isn't much clearance in there either so if it did get out of alignment I could see it rubbing, don't think it would be a big issue unless it was run for a long time way out of alignment. Many have suggested dropping the rear skid, and riveting from the inside so no edges to catch on, I may do this if it starts to be an issue.

track fraying

My 09 sp 153 was doing the same thing, I caught it after the first ride.
now seams to be fine after my fix.
Look inside the tunnel, back just above the rear upper idler wheels. there is a nylon piece on each side of the inner tunnel. Look at the rivets that hold it on. The rivets are too long and stick out. I took a die grinder and ground off the rivets so they are flush with the plastic. there were several others that stuck out too far in the same general area. check track tension for proper alignment and it should be fine. I noticed some wearing ( small grove ) in the plastic protector but it seams to be fine now. Just not a lot of clearance between track and sides of the tunnel. It was an easy fix.

I just put a the arctic cat two wheel kit on my 08 and its doing the same, i think its the track tension, dealer installed so i am going to get them to fix it there is a bit of movement side to side back there but i have seen it on the 09's too probably normal but i still want them to do the best they can to set it up proper,i would take it back to where you bought it for warranty work seems to be a lot of posts on this subject you not alone.
