Who Snowchecked a 2025 Polaris?

1) They will walk all over anybody on Snowest regardless of what brand sled they are on.
2) I'd put them in the top 20 riders in the world (mountain riders)
3) Its not the machine, its the athlete
4) All that said, I'd bet money they'd ride the hard stuff better on a Polaris.
If you’re saying they would ride hard stuff better on the Polaris then you are saying the machine does matter. Unfortunately most sponsored skidoo riders only ride with other skidoo riders. And they are not riding tight technical trees like the Polaris riders are.

Lol. Against better judgement I'll reply...

  • Of course the machine matters, but in the case you need it spelled out to you, what I was implying is a top tier athlete like Jay or Blaine will whoop up on any internet rider by a large margin so long as you put them on any of the modern 850 cc mountain sleds (turbo or not).
  • Maybe the content you see is sponsored doo guys with sponsored doo guys but (believe it or not) Jay and Blaine regularly ride with a whole smattering of people and sleds (I usually join them once or twice a year being I live close by)
  • I'm not going to make this one big name dropping thread, but I promise I know a high number of top tier snowmobile athletes on a number of different brands of sleds. I can promise you the ski-doo riders in question push their machines into the same level terrain as the Polaris guys. would they nab a line faster, with more precision and/or more consistency if they were on a Polaris? I think so. But you are really stretching things by pretending they can't even go places the Polaris guys go.
Ultimately, this is a stupid argument and reminds me why the internet is so silly. Remember, all the videos, photos, write ups etc is an abstraction of reality. It isn't the real thing, just a representation of it.

All that said, I won't touch a Ski-Doo, especially for harder riding. Just one more reason I feel Jay/Blaine are underrated riders. What they do on those machines will have most people in awe.

Just a way longer version contradicting yourself this time. Should have used better judgement…

Muffpot’s were still not cool in 2013 but are now. Maybe Chilly and B-litt haven’t ridden with BC? Relevant video that needs an update. Dangle was ahead of its time for bow-ties and hop overs. Yawn.

You just did the same thing again. You just stated Ski Doo is inferior in which we have all been saying. That's great you have a man crush on Jay and Blaine and you drag them into this conversation so you can hype them up in the Polaris forum. There are better places for you be their fan boy. The fact of the matter is people takes sponsorships from certain places because they will be the number one guy. And trust me, you don't have better judgement. You've proved that here as well is in the news. I'll leave with a Mark Twain quote you should read and hopefully it will sink in.

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Reading comprehension appears to remain poor among a few of you. No, Chadly, the idea that the "ski-doo is inferior" is not "all we have been saying". Nuance, it turns out, is important. It is a stupid conversation I'm trying to have, I just find it funny how people think if you ride brand A or brand B you are unable to ride certain types of terrain. If you are good enough, it doesn't matter.

I could reply to the rest of your post all I really feel like saying is this - You make Snowest a worse place. I hope your real life interactions are more positive than how you behave on an obscure (meaningless) internet forum. You embody a lot of what we need less of in this life - Arrogance, insecurity, tactlessness and rarely offering anything of substance. Hope the negativity you often give others somehow fills whatever void you have. I like to think there is a better way to live the one life we all have.

Well, did you?! What did you get?

I just want to know why you can get a Khaos in the sick Glacier white and not the Pro.. Makes no sense..

Anyway, that’s my beef.

Also…..

I “accidentally” snowchecked a 155 Boost with the 3.25 track. Really, it was an accident😂View attachment 417343
Yes, I’m replying to myself because it’s pretty sad and typical for a post on Snowest to go so sideways. But I thought it would be good to just get back to the original topic.

If you keep in mind, the original question that I posed, “Who Snow checked a 25’ Polaris?” and then go through all five pages of the responses on this, you will too shake your head or smash your palm to your face. 🤯

I feel sorry for anyone potentially new to the sport that is coming here for useful information, only to find this. We need more people in our sport, to have more positive advocates for the sport. Otherwise the tree hugging hippies are going to shut down everything while we’re over here arguing with each other, and being childish about who knows what.

Believe in God, the bible or not. This is still a wise sentence we all need reminding of.

”Do to others as you would have them do to you.“ Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬

I have to remind my 10-year-old and 15-year-old sons of this all the time, whom I’m working hard to raise as God fearing, respectful, uplifting and hard working young men. Funny thing is my 15 yo son will say, “Well, if that’s what Jackson is doing to me, then he MUST want me to do that back to him… “

Nope, thats not what is being said.

That would just create a vicious cycle (this thread is a prime example) and unless someone decides to step up and be the bigger person and says, “Nope I’m not going to respond to that person they the way that they just responded to me.”, then this is going happen on every single thread. There’s a reason why it’s the same people commenting, meanwhile there are thousands and thousands of others watching that don’t even say a word.🤔

From what I have gathered from the post is, it looks like 2 or 3 people have snowchecked this year. Same in the Doo section. When you can't get rid of your used stuff, it's a tough pill to swallow for most ( excluding Chadly of course).
Rusty says I can't sell my 155 9R if I am going to take him riding. He says he refuses to ride a 146 Khaos 9R nor does he have the skill to ride the new and improved 155 Boat Anchor... That being said, now I kinda feel like you need 2 Sleds and a back up for riding Polaris these days. I like how they are trying to weed out the poor people 😎

Polaris executives decided to lower quality to force riders to buy two of their sleds to have one usable ride in a season.

Pretty smart thinking on their part!

This was a true story but I have changed my mind. My requirements are a 165 9R and a 165 Boost with an enclosed and heater. No decks. Then I can keep my sleds in McCall and not have to ride TCCS Axys locally or trips to Tahoe. This will give you 4 sleds and should be enough to keep you riding while supporting Polaris shareholder value. And I might even buy your fuel.

I am going to snow check a boost to compare to this years 9R - I am wondering if the 165 would be the wise choice and why or just stick with the 155??

I’m 210lbs and the 155 pro boost is awesome. 3.25 track hooks up and launches out of the snow. Spent time on a buddies 165 pro boost with the 2.75 and I couldn’t wait too get off of it. Obviously it all depends on your body, skill level and terrain/snow you ride. Regardless of the track length I would stay away from the 2.75 track.

Depends on if you like the wheely factor or not, plus Khaos or Pro. there is a difference for sure. I personally like the PRO with a long track for when I am doing slow speed exploring. I did however drop the front skid mount down 1 hole to make it a bit more playful. And yes Chadly will say im poor as i only have 1 sled and its not boosted. I guess Im old because i have a muff pot, but there is nothing better than eating hot prime rib roast and gravy while my buddies are eatin a cold gas station sandwich.
