Kinda thinkin about buying the new X model but wanted some opinions. Do they do ok in the sand? I would love to buy the new KTM but don't ride sand and track enough to justify it so looking for a more all around unit. What upgrades has everyone tried? Too heavy to ride fast and hard or ok? If I decide that I dont like those then I guess I'll go with a turbo ranger and have room for the whole fam. I just dont know much about the can-am I'm more of a poo guy. Thanks all.

just picked up an 800. what a machine. i bought a scrambler as well and the renegade will munch it(500 compared to an 800) dont' think there's a whole lot to do on this machine. it absolutely rips, pulls wheely's and is flat out fun. if you hard up for power, I noticed some turbo suppliers for them already.
Wicked ride... one day can be playin with the 4x4s in the mud and the next chasin sport bikes down the trail.

Well I think thats the ticket. I'll probably do exhaust and clutching to start and if I can't make it up choke fast enough then I'll HAVE to add nitrous I guess. The turbos sound interesting too just not sure about one on a quad, SxS's and sleds its great but I'll have to ride a quad with one first. What suppliers did you find with them???
I wish I would have bought one instead of my YFZ450, I think I'd have been a lot happier even though it would have cost me twice as much ...
If you wanna go fast on the dirt get a dirt bike, if you wanna have the best mix of everything get a Renegade IMO ...

Ya Can-am's arent cheap (just like the doos) but its worth it

Exhaust... HMF is your run bang for your buck. Ron Woods is the best soundin and puts up the same dyno results but cost way more than HMF

Ya I have run HMF on some others and been really pleased so will stick with them for a while i think.
