First of all I knew I would get some criticism for this video, but I don't think you know more about the incident that I do, so I'm not going to argue too much, I'm not one to sit behind my keyboard and tell people how wrong they are, but... I have taken multiple avalanche courses and have been studying them since grade school. I know what I'm doing in the back country and am very careful. I will admit this was a lapse in judgment. If you'll notice we did NOT have two riders on the slope. I was going to wait at the top until he made it down (which according to my avy training is the proper thing to do). You guys need some avy awareness education!! Avy conditions are off the hook EVERYWHERE and you guys are putting 2 riders on an open slope in HIGH AVY conditions.

Sorry to be a downer, but by your own admission, you have had multiple close calls. Get some education before you become a statistic!!
Avy conditions around Logan have been HIGH for a while...no excuse for riding in that terrain considering the current conditions.
