Where to ride with the wife?

Hey guys,
First off I'll let you know that I'm from Saskatchewan Canada. I'm headed down to Jackson to pick up some sleds and the wife has decided to come with me. I'd like to find some riding on my way home that has some good trail systems to take her riding on. Preferably something with some open meadows and very tame pulls if we leave the trail. She is a novice rider and I just want her to experience some good snow off trails but not going over some pass that scares the $h/t outta her on the way back out. I was hoping to find this riding area between Jackson and Bozeman. The only place I even know of so far is west Yellowstone! Oh yes any accommodations you could recommend would be helpful!
Thanks snowest!

Island park or west has a lot of good riding dunno how good the snow will be with the warm weather

Crooked Creek Guest Ranch is an excellent place to go to, for both you and your wife. Trails, meadows and all riding areas provide a great deal of variety - of which you are sure to find something that fits both your needs! Crooked Creek is on the East side of the Continental Divide, about 80 east of Jackson, just outside Dubois, WY. They are located at 8500', so although it doesn't look like there is snow in the area, there REALLY is! Check out their web-site at www.crookedcreekguestranch.com or call them at 307-455-2815 or 888-238-2647 for more information and snow conditions. Currently they are running a March lodging special, with rates as low as $35/person, depending on length of stay and the number of people in your party. Give them a call.....I know they'd love to show you a good time and make your trip a memorable one!

Crooked Creek would be an awesome place to bring the wifey. I am going to
take my wife with me next year and stay here. Cindy, how is your snow holding up? Looks like some snow in the forecast. We are thinking of making one more trip out the last week of March.

Thanks for all the suggestions I am looking into options. Hopefully there is some snow left when we go !

Snow is doing fine, especially above 9000'. A little soft and sloppy in our yard here at the resort, but reports from riders as they stop by for lunch/supper/beverages is that the riding is fun & spring-like. You can still find meadows and areas that aren't all tracked up; you just might have to go a bit farther. Still have 5 days of snow in the forecast, so we are continuing our snow dancing and crossing our fingers for some fresh powder for you!!!!
