Will be out in Utah from the 23 to the 1st of March for riding. Our group is coming from Michigan and the rest of the group lives in and around Roy. We were going to stay at a cabin in the Uintas but they're reporting the snow is better at Monte'. I would like to know what your thoughts are?
Tks. Jason

Where in the Uintas is the cabin that you are staying in? Bear River side?

Right now the SNOTEL sites are showing about the same amount of snow on the west end of the Unitas as Monte. I’ve ridden both areas but only Monte this season. Both are good areas with similar terrain. I think if I were going to ride several days in a row I’d go to the Unitas, it’s a bigger area than Monte where you might end up covering the same ground a couple days.

Rode the Uintas last year and that has my vote cause the cabin has a shower and bathroom!
It will not be my choice in the end but wanted to hear from everyone if the Bear River side is low on snow.
Thanks, you guys are surely blessed with the mountains I never want to leave after arriving!
