Where can a guy get a regular 2.5 gal gas can..

packing gas

Pack 2 1/2 nearly every ride. Some days can only get about 30 miles breaking trail in 3 feet of powder. Makes it so you can play all day instead of 2/3 of the day. Besides cant leave any snow without tracks.

Mission accomplished!!!

Well I finally found some today after work.

I'll list the places you won't find one first: None of the cat, poo, or yami dealers in fargo. MAC'S was out of 2.5 gal cans, NAPA was out (at least the one I stopped at was). O'Reilly, Avanced Auto Parts, Wall Mart, True Value and Scheels home/hardware all had that godforsaken "Blitz" can.

I went to Fleet Farm and got the last one off the shelf. I ran over to Menards to look for somthing else and checked just to see if they had any gas cans. They had the same ones as Fleet, just like M.M. 700 described.

So for any of you guys out there looking for the old style square 2.5 gal. gas cans head to Menards or Mills Fleet Farm.

O yea, make sure to take the cap off and check for the round disk that seals the cap. Half the ones at Menards were missing thiers.

Thanks for the help guys!

P.S. they sell for about $2.50

Cans

Buy em' while you can, I heard from the manager @ co-op (cenex) that he could'nt get any more of the "older" style like the one pictured by ARCTICM said their going to that goofy type with the closed off handles some kind of regulation or ? not sure just what I heard.

p.s. heard Opec (sp?) is going to cut production by almost 2 1/2 million barrels a day driving the price up to an estimated $2.50 to $3.00 gal
