whats that engine? how many CC's or HP doesnt look very big but wish I coulda had one like that all I had was a little kitty kat and a 340. wish my dad could see what im riding now

Just going real simple on this one. 6.5hp motor with some add-ons, some gokart parts for the drive system and shocks, and the rest built in the garage.
Track will be a 121x8x1 with a bunch of holes punched in it. Budgeted for 1000 looks like it will be around 1300 to get it on the snow. Cheap and simple, but it should turn some heads when it's on the snow.

Here's some of my brother's Snopro Fan. Almost finished with the mods.
Convert to a torsion springless skid, and I'm on the lookout for a 1M front end. Complete front end would be cool. Some Titanium springs(or Floats) to match. Maybe a handlebar set-up like mine next year. Maybe.

He won Junior 600 Liquid and Stock 500 at our local snowdrags about a month ago. All on a 440fan. But it's not really stock.

SLP Powder Pro's - Lightweight Hood-Mtn Cat Handlebars - Billet Throttle Block - Badass Seat - Custom 141" Tunnel Extension - 141x15x2.25 Camo Extreme - '09 141 Cat Rails-9" Badass Billets - 2 Wheel Kit - Ice Scratchers - Red powder coating and odd billet parts.
Motor is wakened up a bit, ceramic coated pipe, bored carbs, UFO's, Heavy Hitters, etc etc.

I started my twins at age 6 ( Once their little helmets started interfering with mine!) on Polaris 340 Indy Lites retracked with 1.5 x 121 tracks and electric start - much easier on Dad - no starting kids machines constantly. Once they hit about 70 lbs, we moved them to a 2003 and a 2004 Polaris Trail RMKs (550 fanners) that we re-tracked with 136 x 2 inch tracks and then geared down a notch. They run like tractors with a top speed of about 53 mph which Mom wasn't excited about but I thought was a good comprimise. They have plenty of mid-range power, don't trench on take off when the kids grab too much throttle and tend not to get stuck! When my daughter hit 13 and 100 lbs, she decided it was time to move up to a 600 RMK. My son at 14 is still riding his 550. He says he is able to flip it around better than the 600, it's lighter and he doesn't miss the top end. He's still on the small side (5'4, 100 lbs) and he can take his 550 anywhere I care to take my Dragon.

Over the years!

My family started riding again in 1994. That year i started out on a 197? ski-doo elan 250 or something (it was small), then a couple years later mom and dad got me a 94' ac puma 340, next was a phazer, then a 97' vmax 500 xt that with a narrow ski stance (traded with a guy that wanted a wide ski stance on his MM) 1.5" 121 track, and bender can. We were going to put a 136 on it but dad bought a 00' MM700 so i inherited his 97' MM700. My junior year in high school i bought the 00' MM700 from him after he got his RX-1. Been riding that until this year when i bought my M1000. There is no better sport for families than snowmobiling.

Love looking at all the little sleds! There are some awesome mods on here.
