that was the one for the 14 and older lt kits that were just a st kit with lt track and rails, they used that flap to keep the snow off your back. being you have a '15 lt with full length tunnel you should not need it. bike looks good!

I wanted to keep more snow on the tunnel cooler oh well

That's a tough call M5 , I guess the bike kits will have to change to what options you want for where you most frequently ride . The tunnel length and snow flap has a love hate relation ship . It definitely has a performance factor in deep conditions . The only way anyone will find out is by actually taking off the tunnel extension and putting some saddle time on it in the deep stuff .

How would the bike perform with a tunnel added to it when running a tire rallying corners ? Guess some people prefer to waller in the mud :face-icon-small-hap

Before anyone says anything about getting sucked into the track my best suggestion is don't do it you might get hurt .

Drunk post?

Fishing attempt for sure but not very pointed.
Maybe point (less).
;)

LOL , stone sober maybe the word babbling comes into play .

I was commenting about how a snowmobile tunnel handicaps a one ski in deep snow . In low snow conditions a snowmobile tunnel does not affect a one ski and also that is where a heat exchanger could be used along with a snow flap .

Some of the bike kits in their earlier stages came out with really stubby tunnels and of course that changes because people hit the panic button .

In a nut shell I was saying that in time the one skis will have to come out with more than track lengths and shock packages .

Not the best picture but this guy makes a snow flap that is adjustable for the conditions . Notice how short the tunnel is , machine was designed for the steep and deep .

Gotcha. I extended my tunnel for 2 reasons, first is lifting the bike is much easier with more leverage and a better body position not all bent over and the second was I got sick of being roosted in the head after I went LT.

So what your saying is that your ice cream is to cold :face-icon-small-hap

I guess there is no such thing as best of both worlds , those snowballs can kind of hurt in some conditions .
