recent pics please?:cool:

hmmm, so is it going to be cloudy at baker and sunny at Helens again? Could be a good plan B so to speak.

For some reason I tend to like going south, it feels like I am going down hill.

So is there a report you are going to give now????????

Yeah, alot better mileage when you head south too.

I'll have to get back to you on a report as it's been a week and a half since I was there...

This report brought to you by Tsnow:

"Sno is still good, road is plowed to Marble lot, still some whoops"...and as I recall, a little rocky getting up to the bridge at the washout.:beer;

What do you use for checking the weather? Also, what elevation are you riding at? Seems like the last time the northern cascades got clouded in, you guys were coming back for sunburns. :cool:

Smoke signals from the locals...they're usually pretty accurate.

Elevation is from 2500 at the top snopark - around 8000 at the top. I just pretty much go off the local forecast/conditions as I'm only 30 minutes from the mountain...if it's raining and 60 at my place, probably doing the same up the road.

Sounds like you could lead us out of the woods at night with the burn you picked up last weekend:D

A buddy and I were on the west side last sat. the gate was still locked WTF rode on a 1/4mi. of road traveled up the draw plenty of snow. Anybody know if the FS plans on unlocking the gate.

Not sure but I hope they do it soon. It'd be nice if we could unload in snow instead of on asphalt.

Rode Sunday. Snow is getting thin. Was the last ride for Pine Creek down low. Lots of snow up high. Just no way to get to it. Still only a 100-200 yds of black top all the way to pine creek
