what to get for my MT12

I would think that with that kind of power, you would want a ridged chassis not super light and flexible. On the rear suspension too, probably that will deal with keeping the front down more than just being light.

if you want it to work good and be super easy to move fast on, get a lightweighted m-10 or a m-10 live axle and a vanamburg boondocker tunnel. Tunnel's boards are super wide and crazy easy to jump around on with unsurpassed confidence and control, and the m-10 is THE best choice for skilift control. I run a 159 m-10 LA on my 1200 WC sled, and a 162 boondocker with a 162 extreme under it. This combo flat works, skis are only off the snow six inches most of the time, and sled is super easy to control. If you go all out lightweight you will regret it, it'll get steep and your front end will want to point downhill instead of up. Wide boards are a must, things happen quick on a big sled, and the boondocker is the first aftermarket tunnel I haven't destroyed in one season.
Ha Ha nice avatar whittaker! True story!

i have the 162 extrem i think im gonna get rid of it though.
any one have a used m-10 for sale?
hows the ez rhyde hold down the frount?

Talk to Mike at Black Diamond Extreme, he is building 430lb M12's. Sounds like he has what your looking for.
I couldn't swing the coin this year to buy his 08, but when I have the coin, I will be getting a hold of him.

PM KMOD on here. His skids control ski lift and still provide weight transfer. He rides turbo Cats as well. The best suspension for the money.

for the money yes! they do work well on a sled under like 180hp, if you're over that or are a heavy rider you're gonna want more ski control. in my opinion the EZ's are the same way. K-mod works great up to an 800 mod motor with a 30 shot. any more and it will be climbing on the back 6" of track. I know the EZ won't hold an apex's front end down that well over 10lbs either, tried that out personally. Go with the m-10, if you want light and money is no problem, call Curt at Fastrax, or Chad at CR. Trevor at Mac's is awesome too, but he doesn't like to lightweight them much I don't think, you could try though. He's canada's dealer for m-10 LAs.

The M chassis is ridgid, we aren't talking about the XP here...

m chassis ain't rigid when your swapping everything out but the bulkhead for light weight goodies. I dont' think he'll have issues with a tunnel, but with that much power gonna have to do his homework and spend a little coin for suspension front and back.

Get a poly carb hood, and run 2 small driving lights, if any, Its a lot lighter than stock. I did it to my sled and stock hood fully loaded, to the poly carb with 2 small driving lights was 20+ lbs lighter.
