i was wondering what the 04-06 ski-doo's handel and perform like. i have a 02 cat and have ridden a 07 M8 and i was wondering how the doo's 800's in those years match up to the M7's or M8's in handeling, power, and climbing. i know the M's are running about 140hp and handel very well but before i bought anything i was wondering about the doo,s. im looking to stay in the 151 track length aera. no smaller.

The Doo and the Cat are pretty close. Both handle real well. Pick the best dealer that is close to home and easy to deal with. 05 and 06 doos had the least problems. O6 was best out of the box. Some 05 and all 04 doos had bad rings. The M-7 and M8 are so close you could change stickers and know one would know if they were riding an 8 or a 7. If you are going Cat, you may as well get the M1000. That thing smokes em all.
