What skis to buy?

I'm soliciting advise about what skis to buy for my 08 Nytro MX. It's 100% stock with the 153" track except for a Roest skid and a '10 model subframe (bent the '08 subframe when I hit a rock last year). The rock took a chunk out of one ski and I'm looking at what my options are. My riding is trail only long enough to get to the good stuff and then boondocking. I'm not an extremely aggressive rider, but I'm will to go for it when the time comes. The stock ski is still usable, but I would like to change it out for the aesthetics along with getting something that might perform better.

What advise does the superior intelligence of Snowest have for me?

I dont personaly have thsese but everyone talks up about them. Try the Simmon's Gen III's. I know that Christopher the SW admin use's them and really likes them on the trail and super great in the powder on his Nytro.

I need new skis too, so i`m thinking, Simmons gen 3 or the C&A mtx ?

I have a set of Sly Dog Powder Hounds in the 8". They work very well on the trail and even better in the POW. Just my .02s

I have changed all my Yamaha's to the Gen II. No points for looks, but they work! An added benefit is that lighter riders, wife and kids, aren't losing a ski under the powder anywhere near as much.

There are 3 of us in out group with powderhounds and they have performed and stood up very well. Not to mention look great.
