Wow, Amsnotoil in the lead. No wonder there are lotsa problems out there.

No problems here, W have an 08 XP and a 660 using intercepter for thousands of miles with no problems. I tore my motor down to do the 660 after 2300 miles and all looked great inside.....Maybe it actually is good stuff:rolleyes:

After reading all the diffrent types of oil used, has anybody had any problems with there motors bue to the oil used? I know people that even use cheveron 2-stroke oil and swears by it. But have never come accross anyboby that has had a failure due to oil there has allways been something else that caused the failure!! Air in oil lines, jetted wrong, etc. ect.
Am also suprised to see amsoil on top of the pole.

I have used both amsoil and blue marble with good results. This year I am going to artic blue from fleet farm on the recommendation of my engine rebuilder (Indydan). I figure if it is good enough for him, it must be good enough for me.

i didn.t know they even sold oil till i was 19...up to that time my pa always made us use used oil in everything...ran it through cheesecloth though to strain it...we had 14 pieces of equipment and never one failure or worn out engine and we farmed 3000 acres...just kidding...

I use Walmart petroleum based for $11-12 per gallon. have run that on my 98X, 01 Summit, 1150 cutler, 900 turbo, and will run it on my 1000 turbo this year. Never any problems here.

I've never understood why peeps pay $30+++ for a gallon of oil?

Every SCAMSOIL vendor on here must have asked their crew to vote on this thread, they are the only ones you ever see raving about how great it is.

stock sled - blue marble or any ol junk will do, have fun cleaning for exhaust valves:rolleyes:

mod/turbo - pony up and get the good tuff---->Redline Syn.

Whatever I can get the best deal on. Right now I have 12 gallons of BRP in the shop. I use Redline in the bike.

I run nautilus.

Not quite sure why everyone says that your ves valves are going to be gummed up and chity. unless my buddy running amsoil is doing something wrong. My valves looked waaaaaaaaay cleaner than his when we pulled them last night.

Whats funny bout the manufactures oils are you ALWAYS hear a dealer telling people.."you cant run anything but factory oil because (brand)oil is formulated specifically for this model" I just have to LOL

I've been running this in all my sleds for 3 years and not 1 problem ! And you can't beat the price, and if you are low Wally world is open 24/7 !!

I am running Klotz right now because that is what was in the sled when I bought it. I have a little VES Gold left over that I am going to mix in there because it is left over from my old sled.

A guy who helps all the locals out with sled repairs uses Napa two stroke oil . I asked him why he doesn't use better oil and he replied, " the day you can show me the Polaris or SkiDoo oil plant is the day I will buy it.

He is no dummy. He worked on designing the propulsion system for the Shuttle Shuttle and designing parts for Toyota's Formula One race car.

That's the way I figure it too. I've run Napa and Car Quest 2 stroke oil as well, when Walmart isn't accessable.
