WHAT OIL ARE YOU USING IN YOUR PRO

Price of oil in this sled isn't huge. I logged 500 miles and used one gallon of oil so if it is $27 or $43, not much difference for a year of riding. I use VES gold,

I am at 350 miles and halfway through my second gallon, not including the fact the tank was nearly full before I started on my jugs. If you only use a gallon for 500 miles, I suspect you will need pistons for sure in another 500 miles. That doesn't sound like you are running nearly enough oil regardless of whose oil it is. That or you are just cruising it down the trails.

Mystik Sea and Snow semi synthetic. I have been using this oil in all my sleds since 2002.

I've been extremely happy with my switch from Amsoil Interceptor to Legend this year. No more fouling spark plugs on a cold start and the smell is fantastic. Much less smoke as well.

Would like to switch to Legend, but can not find it locally. Any one know where to get some in central MN?

Extra virgin olive oil.

Thought about peanut oil, but the exhaust could cause allergic reactions in some people.

Bertolli works best, don't buy that cheapo Walmart generic brand olive oil, it sucks.

WHO CARES WHAT OIL OR HOW MUCH, WE'LL ALL NEED NEW ENGINES AT 1500 MILES!!!!

Legend gets my money. My nearest dealer is 200 miles and only carries the cases of 4 gallon jugs. For what a 5 gallon bucket costs 180 plus 32 bucks shipping from they're website, its only 6 bucks more than VES Gold. For the protection I get, I am ALL in. Plus it doesn't have that nast a$$ acidic smell, WAY less smoke on cold starts ( Doesn't smoke out the trailer ) even with the oiler turned up on my 13 PRO.:face-icon-small-coo

Don't buy Bertolli! That stuff works out to be $48 a gallon. Use Klotz. It has a nice smell to it and its reddish color accentuates the color of the tomatoes in your pasta sauces.

So for every one who buys VES are you buying it out of the drum or the high dollar Polaris jug? I know it's about a $6-7 dollar difference between the two.

I like Amsoil….I burn the intercepter in my saw's ….and the dominator in my sleds….very little smoke or smell…I have polaris sleds from the 650 rxl, 500 indy trail,700 rmk, 05 900..and the 13 800 pro….well and a Mtn max 700 triple..I like the oil from the oil company. And I cut a lot of timber, and my saws outlast most other's 2 to 1:horn:
