what kind boat you ride

I think the best part of boating is the smile on the face of your kid. You can't fake happiness like that. I don't remember too much of my childhood but I do remember getting up really early and my older brother and I taking my grampa's old wooden boat with ribs and a 6 horse Viking outboard We'd go fishing for pike in the Whiteshell in Manitoba. Lots of fun.

No doubt, she doesn't care if it's the little 10 horse, the pontoon or my cousins 18 foot 115. She just loves the wind in her face....well that and you need to hit all the waves for "bumps" and if it's calm you better hit wakes.

We float a 22 Cobalt and a 13 Boston Whaler and a 8 foot Aqua Lark Hydro.

Oh yeah, we have a 14 foot Whaler with a fried motor....what I recall of that boat is it is awesome and damn indestructable. Dad used to turn that thing so tight the starboard sidewall was almost taking on water. Hope to get a new motor for it some day soon. I would love a 18-20 foot Whaler with the center console.

Do canoe's count? I rock my old mans 1960's something 16ft aluminum canoe... What it lacks in beauty it makes up for in character.. :beer;

Dang you guys have some nice rides...

I actually do "ride" my boats ;)

She held 36 gallons, twin stainless tanks with a surge tank up front of the motor, I would bring at least 2 55 gallon drums for the weekend plus the full boat. The party cove we went to was about 11 miles from the ramp, there and back.......empty, all 36 gallons......lol....not very good economy... but it did run a gps/radar gun 128.6 mph in full lake trim. Not as fast as my drag boat (BAF) but pretty quick none the less.

More pics. My favorite is the one where my Girls "fixed" my hair. LOL. Mabey next summer I'll actually get a shot of the boat.
